i didn’t know about the breakfast reputation when i arrived at 2pm and i was a bit confused by the many pages of breakfast on the menu. also confused by getting an english menu with excessive translation - turned out that “turkish pancake” was gozleme and i wish i’d gotten that. instead i had “meat roast with vegetables”, which was diced beef with just a few vegetables and some bread, and lots of oil. it was ok but not worth tl44 (comparing online photos of the turkish menu, at least i can say that the english menu did not also “translate” the prices). i also had a bland brownie for dessert, but the coffees were good. everything took a long time to come. it has a nice eating area with an outlook over the bosphorus, although there’s currently construction marring the view. i wouldn’t return except maybe to try out the breakfast offerings.
