best thai in heath. i've been to this little restaurant several times and it is always peaceful and quiet. the place is family run and they put a lot of love into making their dishes. the ingredients are always fresh and the thai desserts are spectacular. i highly recommend the sweet, sticky rice with coconut ice cream on top. i had it for the first time a week ago and i'll be sure to get it again and again!

the waitress used to be much nicer, but the past few times i've been here, she's been rude and unhelpful. it took 5 minutes to receive drinks and we never received a refill after they were empty. my food was made wrong and rather than remaking it correctly, she insisted that it wasn't her fault and that the cooks made it wrong and wouldn't remake it. it was not taken off of our check either. i will never return here.

royal thai is one of my favorite places to eat in heath...the food is awesome. they ask you how spicy you want it 1-10. although food slightly costly you usually get a decent amount. i love the currys and the duck is fantastic :3

still awesome in heath, ohio. we eat at royal thai often. the thai family who own and run the restaurant are very eager to please each and every customer. i like my food spicy and they know when i say nine on a scale of ten that i will be ok. if you think you like spicy hot food be certain that you are aware of just how fiery thai spicy is. you can add heat; work your way up. they will prepare food with no spice that is also fresh and delicious. i am on a quest to try everything on the menu. so far i have loved everything i have tried. i mentioned in another post how much i enjoy the house salad....the dressing is world class!! treat yourself to a culinary adventure at royal thai.

เพียงแค่โดดเด่น awesome in heath, ohio. we were advised by a friend, who has spent time in thailand, that the new owners of royal thai prepare excellent thai food. so, today we decided to try the new royal thai. our first impression was how very clean it is, then how friendly the family is! the menu has both thai and japanese dishes. we were there for thai!!! we were told that "mom, will make anything you want even if it is not on the menu." i had the duck panang and loved every bite. my husband had pad thai and was very pleased. i had the soup which was nice; my husband had the salad and it was awesome. i am longing to return!! ต้นฮอลลี

1.18.14 the second visit to royal thai was just as wonderful. friendly and delicious. i had panang curry with chicken and shrimp. the ginger salad dressing is excellent.

1.23.14 we had dinner at royal thai with friends. they were very happy with the excellent food and great service.

royal thai in heath ohio. my husband and i visited the royal thai restaurant today for lunch. we did not realize they actually close for a couple hours between their lunch hours and their dinner hours. even though they should have been closed, they did not hesitate to welcome us in to have lunch. we were very impressed with how clean and how nice the atmosphere was. and our waitress, manny, ( i hope i spelled that correctly), went out of her way to give us the best service and make us feel welcome. we started out with an appetizer of gyoza ( fried pork dumplings) which were very good. for my entree, i chose the panang curry. i could not decide between chicken or shrimp, so they gave me both! my husband chose the crispy duck, which was served over a bed of steamed broccoli, cabbage carrots, snow peas bell peppers and sweet bean sauce and rice. excellent ! you choose if you want spicy or not. we chose medium spice. it was perfect for us, spicy, with a kick, yet did not burn your mouth. for desert we chose coconut ice cream ( they make their own ! )... and manny brought it to us along with their black sticky rice. out standing ! the sweet black sticky rice was warm, a bite of that with the coconut ice cream... so good !!! thank you manny for your suggestions and your sweet personality to make us feel so welcome. and please tell your mom, she is a fabulous cook! we will be back !!! we highly recommend this restaurant ! rated 5 stars plus. chuck and patty, from mount vernon.

i just ordered the tom yum seafood soup which was 6.95 and got it home and it was nothing but onion and mushrooms. no seafood at all. pretty pricy bowl of soup with nothing in it if you ask me. toyko on 30th has much better quality food if you ask me.

we enjoyed 4 excellent meals at royal thai. the hospitality was appreciated. the food was presented in a beautiful manner. our dinners arrived hot! the meals tasted delicious.the atmosphere is calming and clean. be sure to order a thai iced tea!
we ordered pad tai, drunken noodles, mango rice, and new york strip. we drove 40 minutes to get there and will definitely do it again.

royal thai-great family experience. this restaurant has new ownership within the last 2 months--restaurant was clean, and food was served much faster, even though the cook ("mom") was making specialty gluten-free dishes for us. they said they were going to get some gluten-free soy sauce in the restaurant, and also that people can bring their own if there is a special soy sauce they like and they can cook it up. our three kids (4, 6, and 9) also had a great experience, and servers/owners were very personable and like family, really. we ate every.single.bite. the portion sizes were good though--i agree with other reviews that the last owners gave very stingy portions. we had modified pad see-ew (with a garlic sauce instead of soy since they did not yet have any gf soy sauce), red curry with chicken, and a delicious chicken and coconut milk soup that we ladled over our 4-year-old's side of rice noodles. we will definitely be back!

get the fried yams as an appetizer. so good!

outstanding thai. my wife and i ate here last night, and the food was great. incredible spices made for great dining with personal attentive and friendly service. i seek out thai restaurants when i travel, and this place is a gem! i only wish that i lived in the columbus area to enjoy their food more often.

love it! i'm pretty sure this in the only good thing about heath and the only reason i ever go to that town. the panang curry is my absolute favorite. they are pretty heavy handed when it comes to spicyness so i always order mild and it still makes my nose run and eyes water. not a fan if their egg rolls, they taste fishy, but the spring rolls are great! pad thai is really good too. friendy, but quiet staff. a nice quiet place to dine. i wish they would relocate to pickerigton and get a liquor license, but other than that i highly recommend this place!
