royal sandwich shop

i have to confess, i have lived near this place for nearly 3 years and i just recently went there for the first time about a month back. and i was disappointed i didn't come here sooner.
if you are looking for gourmet sandwiches, then this is not the place. here, you will get affordable, street sandwiches in a cozy little ac place. name any combination you want and it will be there. the vegetarian sandwiches are better than the non-veg ones. but that said, you truly do get your money's worth.
overall, if you are hungry and want to grab a quick bite, then this is one of those places you can go to.
additionally, they also have an option where you can donate a sandwich to the needy if you wish. i don't know of any other restaurant that has this option.
downside - card not accepted, so please carry cash with you. also, their offer of drinks isn't all that great.

after having club sandwiches of bombay the expectations remain high at other places also.

this place was suggested by a colleague & being a bit far off it needed an effort but nonetheless a foodie needs to travel :).

it's a joint usually frequented by college goers, suiting their budget. taste wise sandwichs are good but don't stand apart for regular visits. the place needs serious uplift in service & needs to include variety of breads also. having 100 variety items in menu doesn't help the cause

this is the most pocket friendly place on town with exotic sandwiches..i explored dis place long back..guess it wud hav been around 2 to 3 yrs... now they hav established may branches nd they have soo many franchises...but when i went to dis place it used to be so small..but it used be soo crowded. i got into the habbit of visiting dis place daily aftr my clge. their sandwiches are the best in town. i love their dessert sandwich #choco_mango_banana_grilled #brownie_sandwich..this place is just awesome..

to start with, i had:
avakkai cheese sandwich (don't frown in disgust)
tomato corn cheese
chenna tandoori
brownie chocolate

and another avakkai cheese.
why? because it's the best sandwich i've had in so long. all the others are normal, sane. just your everyday fare at just about any shop.
sure, their quality is good. but nothing extraordinary.

avakkai cheese, blew my mind. it was delicious. tangy, spicy, cheesy. perfect.

masala lemonade was gorgeous.
on leaving : heavy heart, happy stomach, no significant difference in wallet.

my recent experience with royal sandwich is quite a disaster.

ordered 3 sandwiches,

1. maggi panner sandwich
2. chicken club sandwich
3. chicken mayo sandwich

all on zomato order online.

waited 45 mins to only get wrong orders delivered. even after zomato support insisting on making them correct it. zero f***s were given by the sandwich shop.

i have only one thing to say here... name the parcels and issue a bill. a basic 5 min thing. you may ace in making sandwiches, but have zero knowledge on how to treat/correct your mistakes.

never ordering, no matter how good your sandwiches are...

delicious is the word - adorable, yummy and quick food. i love their egg sandwiches and their chocolate sandwiches are just amazing. if you love chocolate, definitely try out the double chocolate cheese which has to be my absolute favourite.

the best sandwiches in town.great variety and taste.that too at ultra cheap prices.even though its a self-service place,the service in terns of the time they take to make your order us really fast,however crowded it be.the conventional veg,omlette,cheese sandwiches are lip-smacking.you must try their other special sandwiches like the chocolate filling ones,the pasta/maggi ones.none of them fail to impress you.

it's a good place to have sandwiches on the go but not worth the effort to get dressed to go there. i went there for saturday lunch and the place was pretty crowded. i ordered pasta paneer tandoori sandwich and pita mushroom sandwich. the paneer was definitely not a tandoori, it was simply cubed and added. the pasta was boiled and not sautéed. the pita sandwich was way better. we ordered crushers which were served 15mins after we had finished our sandwiches.
the orders were not written down by the server so at the time of the bill we had to do our own calculations since the bill provided was just a total a total of the amount and not a break down of what we had eaten.
not going back, might order food though.

these guys are awesome. perfect taste. just the way i wanted it to be. 5/5 on delivery timing. choco banana grilled sandwich was the best. lays cheese sandwich was awesome. kudos guys and good luck. i will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a sandwich.

this is the first time i'm visiting royal sandwich shop. was a good experience, with mouthwatering sandwich. added advantage of this outlet is variates of sandwich. this is the first time i'm seeing so much varieties of sandwich. they also serve cold beverages. ambience is good. however, not very spacious. people walk in and walk out very frequently.

was surprised to see a board saying " donate a sandwich for poor" appreciate this initiative.

to summarise, good outlet for sandwich lovers with affordable price range...

tried it for the first time and had a very good experience. too many varieties to try. should not really consider the ambience as it is a small place with limited seats, so i believe it is not possible for them clean the tables. as people keep walking in every ten minutes on an average. a very pocket friendly place even if you go as a gang. the bill will never disappoint you. based on reviews curiously tried the chocolate cheese sandwich. it's very good for the price. my favourites here are chocolate cheese, corn cheese and paneer cheese sandwich. overall a satisfying experience at the very first time

okay, so royal sandwich is my favourite place to eat at. it's super pocket friendly and has so many variants of sandwiches that you'll fall crazily in love with it. and no matter how many times you go, you'll never be bored of this place. my favorites here are avakka cheese and chocolate cheese!

yummy chocolate sandwich flavor extra loads of taste. but i'm not satisfied with boiled egg with panner sandwich egg smashed with green chutney & chicken mushroom flavor felt chicken is raw & little tasteless. service is so good, wish to taste all flavors

never seen so many varieties of sandwiches served under one roof!!!
a very popular joint. frequented by students, salespersons and the occasional "us" ;)
no place to sit and eat, but many were seen standing around in groups or alone and eating the hot, freshly and efficiently made wares, ordering more as they finished. we, of course, packed ours and ate them while sitting in our parked car!
hats off to the servers who remembered everyone's orders perfectly!!! :) no preferences. it was first-come first-served!!
