first time here. pulled pork sandwich was excellent! get it with "everything"... you won't be disappointed. a working smoker out front is always a good sign. definitely a neighborhood feel, which i find refreshing in east sac.

unexpected delight. it may look like a hole in the wall, but this place has delicious sandwiches and super friendly service. bonus: it's a convenience store too so you get a big variety of drinks or chips to choose from.

come on a monday if you want to eat the best tri-tip sandwich of your life.

yummy. my coworkers and i order from here as often as possible, everything is so good. you can watch them make your order at the counter and then order various sides to go with it. we look forward to trying everything on the menu.

tasty, tasty, tasty!. first things first... who gets a sandwich in east sac and then waits until they get to elk grove to eat it? seriously? anyways... this place gets it done each and every time! the staff is always in a good mood, which seems to be at least on the days i'm in there and they all can be relied upon to put together whatever you want! but if you do go off the menu, daily specials or otherwise, you wont be let down! the meatball, mafia style is killer, the roxie special is fantastic too. these guys make sandwiches non-stop all day long and it shows. whether you get your sandwich cold or hot, you're gonna be happy and satisfied. roxie's has quality and value, which is hard to find hand in hand most times! do yourself a favor and get there. plus they have a great selection of beer too. beer and a sandwich, oh yah!

get the meatball sandwich mafia style, you wont be disappointed

roxie not so good. i am surprised so many like this place. get the hot pastrami sandwich with turkey with all the works that is the sandwich they said was the best and take it home. by the time we drove home the sandwich was a soggy mess. the lettuce was garbage the tomatoe was warm and flavorless the cheese was a waste also. no quality at all. a good deli sandwich has plenty of meat, a great deli has an abundance of flavorful meat but i had to check not once but twice to see if there enough in this one! by the end of my half i had all roll and no meat.

bad combinations from the start turkey and pastrami does not work. then add mustard and mayo to it so thats a mess and then a cardinal sin to add jalapenos to pastrami and what you have is a mishmosh of nonsense on a good roll.



sorry folks but that was a bad (as in not good) sandwich.

the bread was good and the onions were perfect the rest was a waste of time and money.

delicious sandwhiches even for a picky sandwhich eater. patrons beware of the bbq smoke infiltrated store interior, do not wear nice sweaters to this place unless you want to walk around smell like a bbq hog.

great sandwiches. this deli rocks! i plan on making this a regular stop.

as an out of towner i used the urban spoon ratings to guide me to this hole in the wall deli and i could not be happier with the 100% rating it had received by my fellow diners. i too am more than pleased with the quality of the food as well as that of the people serving you. if you are looking for a delicious deli sandwich, go no further than roxi's deli!

great sandwiches, great people. roxie's has, hands down, the best dutch crunch rolls i've ever had. they also make some of the best sandwiches in the city. i go there at least once a week, usually for their rib tip sandwiches. they've got a big smoker out front and when its puffing, you know there's some good bbq going on. their house special is a favorite among regulars, i also love their pastrami and they've got really good cornbeef too. the guys behind the counter are great and personable, i tell marcus the meat i want and i let him do the rest--he knows what to put on a sandwich to make it good. he hasn't let me down yet.
