we had a wonderful late lunch here on a clear, sunny day.  my husband drank dead guy ale and ate fish and chips.  i had the best grilled cheese sandwich (with candied bacon!) that i think i have ever had.  fun afternoon!

nice pub on the wharf! great place to chill out on the deck!

good beer and service was really good too! food was o.k. i think its as good as you will get for pub food.

another rogue to visit. same great beer and good pub food. on pier 39 near astoria or. always recommend the kobe burger or patty melt. salads are good, but the chili has beans. 😳

this place is receiving this review based on the food and service. you can buy their beer at safeway, so i don't get it. we stopped in for lunch on a monday afternoon to find that there are no lunch specials, there's only one menu. i ordered the clam chowder that didn't seem homemade at all. it also seemed like the milk had scalded. it wasn't my favorite. my husband ordered the pulled pork sliders which came out with hardly any pork, slaw from a bag, and the sauce was really sweet. literally everything we ate felt like it was simply heated up and served to us. after the food was dropped off no one asked how we were. the waiter seemed annoyed that we didn't order any beer and was far more attentive to those that ordered only beer and no food. we won't be back, very disappointed. it only received two stars because of its location.

the food was tasty. the service was horrible. the waiter kept making excuses of why he was not serving us, then when we finally got food it was luke warm. and to top it all off he was pretty flippant about being busy.

food was average and service was a bit slow - but friendly to the max! great brew selection. worth a visit - especially if your a beer lover.

average food, warm beer, slow service ... it was about the most disorganized place at which we have ever eaten. it was busy, but it things were added to out ticket, very slow getting our food, different servers coming by ... and nothing else made it worth it.

good beers! service was overwhelmed on a busy monday night. food took forever, but was good bar-quality chow.

good food! we had steamers and calamari to start. both were very good. calamari was sort of boring. could have used more spices in the batter. then we had clam chowder which was good. tasted more like potato soup. and of course there were tons of amazing beers! i had the chocolate stout and the oregasmic pale ale. yum!

beware of the dog menu. we stopped by on our way to rockaway to pick up some bottled beers, and i noticed that they had a special dog menu. i thought it would be fun to get our dog something while my wife and i tried one of the many beers on tap.

we ordered our dog the pulled pork slider (described as their ultimate treat). he ate half of the decent-sized portion when we figured he'd had enough. we were then shocked to find out that it was a standard slider, loaded with chunks of onions, which dogs absolutely should not eat. you can find articles on the subject such as "onions and dogs: a lethal combination."

when we confirmed this with our waitress we were told that normally the cook chops the onions finely so they can't be seen in the sauce but this cook left chunks of onions, as if this somehow made a difference. she then told us that her dog ate it with no problems; the item was not removed from the bill.

while our dog appears to be fine a few days later, this caused a great deal of stress on our vacation, and some disbelief that a place would have a special dog menu without doing any checking as to what dogs actually can safely eat.

we came here for my birthday. amazing place, food, environment, and service! two thumbs up! we loved it!

good food, reasonable prices, great beer, nice atmosphere, good service, kid friendly.

good chowder, fish and great beer. we flew today, and we stopped driving to the coast. the waitress was helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. we have two young children & they enjoyed it. nice view of the river in a fun old building on a pier.

rogue is wonderful! everything i've had is amazing. great service too!

clam chowder, where are the clams?
steamed clams, tiny and flavorless.
calamari, undercooked and greasy.
rogue bread, gummy supermarket french bread, grilled and served cold.
expected much better, left disappointed.
