rick's roadhouse

i had never known of rick's before. we stopped with a family friend who attends a local med school. he recommended the burgers. the atmosphere was perfect...trendy, laid-back, sports on the tv's, good drinks, hot food, solid bbq, and a great mix of appetizers and comfort food. when the food arrived i almost worried that i'd chosen poorly. the burgers looked and smelled great. my friends liked them. i ordered the chicken fajitas with guacamole. the only issue i could take is typical of fajitas and is a personal preference. whoever was on the grill tonight was like most...they loved to grill the meat and vegetables too hot. so, my chicken and onions/peppers were cooked well, but were too charred. other than that, the food was good, flavorful, and of nice quality. plenty of good beers to chose from. lots of tap selections and 3 different sizes. i would love to come back for $2 taco tuesday or to enjoy the outdoor patio sometime. check this place out when you pass by. i think you'd like it!

excellent. i was in town on business and stopped in one night for dinner and loved it. dave the bartender was great! friendly, fast service and put on the college basketball game i wanted. food was tasty and plentifully. i had the brisket, it was a little thinner than you usually get but it was great. the cornbread and cole slaw that came with it were very tasty. i would absolutely go back here for dinner next time i'm in the area on business.

pigeon wings. if u want schneider list wings dry and overcharged this is the place for u. beer is expensive and flat. rebel ipa from sam adams is either a different beer or very flat. appetizers unbelievabley disappointing especially the wings. very disappointing from a year ago when i was last there.

great place. go-to place for drinks with my friends. love it here, especially in the summer. also good food and great prices.

i had an unbelieveable time at rick’s roadhouse. the food was excellent and the service was top-notch. i am yearning to go back for another round and eager to try out the rest of the menu.

very good food. we went for the first time friday night. bar was packed but dining room had plenty of seating. sandwiches were excellent and service was top notch. loved the warm peanuts too.
do not like to pay for parking tho! valet charges .99 but still, it should be free and then a tip to the valet.

i've been on a quest for the past few years. the quest to find good bbq in rhode island. two friends have joined me on this quest. we started at lj's bbq in pawtucket close to the east side of providence. since it had gotten good reviews and boasted that elton john had it brought in when he was performing in rhode island, we had high expectations. we liked the atmosphere and the service was friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired. next we headed to becky's bbq in middletown. we did like the food, i

only speaking on behalf of my in and out experience. ordered pulled pork sandwich. damn that'd good. the woman at the bar didn't thank me for my patronage. read reviews on urban spoon and give it a shot.

fun times. went there sometime back with a larger group of friends; the server we had was great, super friendly and a riot- as well as offering superb table side service.
i had the cuban sandwich and it was very good!

bbq pork pizza for $9.99. loaded with pulled pork - literally no sign of the crust in sight with all the toppings, this 16" pizza was probably the best value i've ever gotten with more than one topping. i'll be doing take out on the way home from the office from here regularly. hello fridays...

best place to hang out in providence. rick's has a great attitude to it when it comes to their appearance, food and service. ricks has a large bar with very affordable drinks, a game room with arcade games pool tables, and a large dining hall. i go to rick's at least once a week and i have had a great time every time. their menu is great, the food is always good, and you can't go wrong with a cheap bucket of beers. this is my favorite place to unwind and hang out especially when it is nice outside. the front garage-style windows open up, completely exposing the bar. there are picnic tables outside where you can play a free game of corn hole. if you're in providence looking for something to do or just eat great, ricks is your destination.

the place is great! started off with the pig pile nacho's- way delicious!.. for dinner had a couple of burgers- great grilled flavor-
for an inexpensive fun time you got to try it. happen to go on a tuesday night. after eating dinner went into the bar where they have karaoke. gotto to tell you, we had way too much fun!
