delicious korean wraps. had the bulgogi kimchi wrap, which was bursting with flavor. fell apart as i was eating it, but would order it again. can't wait to come back and try the bowls and bibimbap.

s.o.l.i.d.. (disclosure: i eat out two times a day all over portland.)

amazing value. i had the bibimbop. it was loaded with fresh, raw veggies, some marinated/fermented veggies, avocado, and brown rice. i was shocked at the portion. it is literally two meals for me, an adult male. right now i am finishing off the leftovers at home, which has inspired me to join urbanspoon to write a review. i just have to give respect where respect is due! so many restaurants serve "trendy" tapas portions. what a waste of money. despite my relatively high income, i tend to be a frugal man. this is a frugal man's dream. the meal was satisfying on many levels. my other favorite restaurant is chipotle. rice junkies is a not a chain, but it is worthy of being franchised. they have a lot of offerings. since i am a flexitarian with veggie leanings, a place really has to work hard to get my gut. we need more tasty, healthy, fast food options like rice junkies in convenient places. the large chains aren't necessarily popular because of their valiant attempts to salt and sugar everything to death. it is their location! it is just super easy to pull into them and find parking and stuff our faces with crap. my day with come when you can pull into a rice junkies drive thru and get fresh, delicious bibimbop.
another secret yummy frugal meal is at the jerusalem cafe on 38th and belmont. behold the hummus sandwich. it is $4 of yumminess. the hummus sandwich is worthy of it's own food cart.

healthy options, great food, excellent service!!!. rice junkies not only has incredible flavor, but healthy options whether you're a meat eater, or vegan. the service was outstanding. the 2 dishes that stood out to me were the bibimbap & the quinoa vegan bowl. very filling!!!

love it. i love this place and can't belive i only just discovered it a year ago. i'm asain so this review may be bias since i am a huge ricer!!! my favorites are their fire chicken, ramen and bibimbap. i love korean food but it can get expensive so it was great to find this place to fill my craving for it at a fraction of the price and it taste just as great as what you would get at the restaurants. be careful because each location tastes different with this one on hawthorne being the best. i get that look in my eyes at least once every other week and my husband knows i need my rice junkie fix.

while it wasn't the most amazing thai chicken wrap i've ever had, nor my wife's all-time favorite bibimbap, for the price, you can't beat it. $13 total bill made it totally worth it. plus they have $3 micro bottles and $1.50 pbrs regular price.

overpriced !!!. had the kung pao chicken. for $5.75, it consisted of 3 small bites of chicken, with the rest being only rice. what a rip off!!!

the first time i went to rice junkies i had gotten a thai chicken wrap. i think it was an homage-order to the weird-hippie-burrito place we used to go to in burlington, vt, because that’s what i always got there. and like the food at the weird-hippie-burr
