good coffee, great slow cooked lamb brekkie. baked beans were raw though.

service here is a big let down - it's slooow, the lady kept forgetting meals and drinks and we asked for the bill 3 times before getting up and grabbing it at the counter.

shame, we heard such good things about this place. we won't be back.

coffee is not good, baked beans is raw and hard. ocean trout taste very fishy like those which are not fresh. not worth what they charge. can get better food elsewhere.

we support revolver. although the cafe is always busy, we highly recommend revolver. the menu could be more adventurous but the quality of ingredients and food are excellent. we highly recommend this cafe!

doesn't live up to the hype. i was disappointed with revolver. i'd heard a lot about their big breakfast but it simply didn't live up to the hype. the beans and pesto were delicious but the bacon was overly chewy and fatty, the sausage greasy and honestly, serving poached eggs in a warm cast iron pan is kind of a strange choice to me. the whites became very rubbery very quickly. such a shame :(

the strawberry frappe was awesome although my dining companion thought he'd been served off-brand, flat cola instead of coke (not confirmed...).

great coffee and brunch spot on weekends. the big breakfast ($18) is more than enough for two to share & the little marionette coffee excellent always!

late post - came here a few weeks ago. we decided to call ahead and book a table as we were on the way. we got there just before the rush (approx 10:15am) and only had to wait for about 10mins. the service wasn't too bad and could always flag someone as they walk past. the food - ordered the 1. trout rosti: it reminded me of a corn fritter, only larger. i personally liked the sweet/savoury mix the rosti had. the relish was nice and sweet as well which complimented the dish. this is one dish i'd order again! 2. the veggie big breakfast: the dish itself and the tomato base was very flavoursome, only pitty was that there was a bit too much beans. the chai was ok but i found the flavour more subtle than other places i've had it. overall, a lovely little cafe. as mentioned by others, be prepared to wait or try come early.

revolver oozes with coziness. with a wooden ladder straddled against an antique shelf, the table beside it has always been my favorite spot

my latte is delicious - and it's a really satisfying cup of coffee with a nice creamy blend. the frappes are worth a try as they're jam packed with fresh fruity flavours which aren't unnecessarily watered down by too much ice -

the goal is the eggs. walk in and you know you belong. cosy, gorgeous and tasteful. now it's almost winter, the smoked trout and corn fritters breakfast is one of my faves. but my goal is to go there one winter morning, really hungry and try their baked eggs. they look scrumptious.

you'll be hard pressed to find any cafe in sydney that does breakfast like revolver. servings are generous and prices are more than reasonable for what you get. the decor is warm and inviting and staff carry those qualities as well. can't wait to go back.

one of my two favourite brunch places in sydney. makes one of the best baked eggs in sydney! will always come back

i've only been to this place twice but am already in love with it. the owner/manager (?) who served us today was incredibly friendly, warm and accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious, not to mention affordable. the range of gluten free and dairy free products was also great. will definitely be returning!
