what has happened at l,attitudes. i,ve been coming here for 30years with a trust in their consistency, friendliness and great food. is there a different chef...need to say that we were unhappy with our tasteless meal

my husband and i went for dinner tonight. we had the mushroom crostini. it was topped with beautiful sautéed spinach, wild mushrooms , crispy thin sliced pancetta and goat cheese. it was an absolute great first impression. our waiter was evan and he was promt and courteous. my husband had the bourbon glazed ribeye and i went with the mushroom peppercorn meatloaf and garlic smashed potatoes. i actually stole some of my husbands crispy fried onion straws off his steak and put them on my meatloaf and it sent it over the top ( great texture and flavor) i would recommend this restaurant to everyone and my compliments to the chef! we will be back.

sunday lunch. four of us enjoyed a very tasty, ample portioned lunch. it was a bargain in every sense

great food!. on vacation over spring break and had the opportunity to dine at l'attitude and was very happy with everything, from the appetizers to the dessert. walked (or perhaps waddled) away full and contented! will definitely return!

the food at latitude is superb,for the value and consistacy,,i noticed some of the negative remarks.disreguard them,,,everything is better than ever there,,give them a try,,you will keep coming back for more,,,

very disappointing after many good visits. let's start by saying i've been comming here for ten years now and have always had good things to say about l'attitudes. generally a good pub atmosphere where food , drink , and conversation can be had.

the last time we were there, however , has left a unpleasant taste with me.
my wife and daughter and i went out to casually celebrate our daughters graduation from med school. we sat at the bar, the place was only somewhat busy. the owner was tending bar that weeknight and did not pay any attention to us, our meal, or our satisfaction.

it took over ten minutes to get her attention to order appetizers, but we did and also ordered our entrees at the same time. we sat and talked til our meals came out and one of the three plates was prepared incorrectly as my wife had asked for pasta not rice with her jumbalaya. the owner acted as if we were annoying her when we informed her of the mistake---she took the plate back to the kitchen to be reprepared without any appology or explanation. it took about 10-15 minutes to recook the plate while my daughter and were eating ours, so my wife was eating alone by the time she got hers back.

now i know this stuff happens all the time, but usually in a better restaurant (as i have always considered this one) there is some acknowlegment of the mistake by management . there was none.
the food was good after we all had a chance to eat it. we had another drink and got the check. we noticed that there were extra charges on the bill that were incorrect. we informed the owner\bartender about this and again she appeared to act annoyed that we interupted her conversation. she took the check back and did something at the register and came back with the same exact bill.
now we were getting aggrravated with her. we told her that there was nothing changed on the bill and she replied that "that's what the register says". i then informed her that regardless of what the machine reports the prices charged were not the price of the items ordered. she then rudely went back and corrected her mistake.
as i said in the beginning we have always had a good time at this restaurant in the past and have taken friends and recomended to others to come here. it seems though that possibly the ownership has become a bit too comfortable (if not ignorant) of the reputation that their place has acheived.

what the hell. ive come here many times and have had delicious food, great service, and fast delivery of food to my table. went there last night, and noticed it was busy. not crazy busy, but the waitresses were moving quickly.

took 10 minutes to get our drink order, then took about 8 more to actually get my beer. we took a while to pick our meal, but ordered one of the daily specials and some chili and a salad.

it took 25 minutes to get bread. it then took another 10 for my wife to get her salad. after over an hour of sitting there waiting for our dinner (and having to nurse my beer because we were getting avoided because i looked visibly pissed off) we finally got our food. it was good. they burnt a few of the roasted potatoes (how do you do this?) but the asparagus and beef were alright enough i guess.

i am normally very patient, but i felt as if i was being held hostage. we had no communication as to what was going on in the kitchen, but i am sorry - it doesn't take 45 minutes to cook a piece of meat medium rare. if this was my first time going there, i would never go back. luckily for me, and i guess them, i am willing to give the place another shot.

be ready to sit a while though. and the food is good, but it ain't worth a 1.5 hour sit down and a $45 check for 1 entree and 2 appetizer type dishes.

excellent family style dinner for 2. my first experience due to a groupon deal. loved everything about the restaurant. great service, delicious food, and bread to die for. i will be going back. no complaints from me. i would suggest going earlier in the evening as it does seem to get louder in there as the place fills up.

inconsistent. sometimes really good --sometimes not so good.
had a bad night --ordered calamari and peppers--came mostly peppers. waiter went to kitchen--returned saying my order was normal. did nothing to resolve problem.
needless to say--we were not happy since we go there often.

waiting for a response from mgmt. hi,

i recently went to l'attitude and was double charged by the bartender for some drinks. i could understand if i stiffed him on a tip but i left over 20%. apparently that wasn't enough and he decided to double the total and charge me. when i notified the manager she told me that she would look into it. i spoke with her several times and provided enough information for her to find the receipt. it has now been over 2 weeks and she no longer returns my phone calls and the issue has not been resolved.

i used to go to this restaurant every week and have recommended it to many people. it is a shame that they couldn't even offer an apology to what happened.

great spot!!!. i usually go once or twice a week whether its for lunch and a beer or with the wife on the weekend. i've had business lunch meetings as well and out of towners really liked it too! it's always very good, quick and affordable. family style entree is a huge portion for a couple and i can eat. if you go often its worth getting a rewards card for free food and cocktails. my favorites are creole style calamari, half baked wings and the "guilty as sin" blt.

perhaps an off night for kitchen staff. hope, our server, was friendly, informative, and professional. she paced the dinner nicely. we ordered salmon with barley risotto with lobster buerre blanc ( under the title - family style (feeds 2 maybe 3 people)) we were brought a nice plate of bread with feta, olive oil, balsamic reduction and a few pepper flakes. our salad came next. mixed greens with balsamic vinegar, mozzerella and sliced tomatoes (not bad but the kitchen tongs were greasy - no doubt, due to the salad person that prepared the salad) then our wings. an extra course, we had half asian bbq and half buffalo, they were very crisp, maybe a little too much, but delicious.

the downfall. i believe a possible recovery was possible but the business handles it poorly. our salmon, prepared well done was over white rice with sauteed red onion, red and green peppers and topped with a garnich of lobster meat. when hope asked how it was, i said this isn't barley risotto. it looks like pilaf. when she returned from the kitchen, the chef said it is indeed risotto. aside from have no possible resemblance to risotto, from the type of rice used (traditionaly arborio) the texture was not even near and that had never been our complaint - - it wasn't barley. the server had come back and said this was the 3rd to be served tonight and it did look different than normal.

the dish looked to me like they had taken the jambalaya dish and put our salmon on top.

on the menu, it says to ask for either of the two owners if you need to speak with them for special requests. yet we clearly had an issue and even after they cooked barley "to order" for our meal, she never once stopped by but instead avoided all contact with us. we were not offered a round of drinks, not a dessert, not 1 cent.

the only thing to be sure of, we will not return. our best wishes to hope however.
