the service here is very good - our server was very attentive and pleasant. the food is excellently prepared and presented. we highly recommend this restaurant.

great food. great service. server corbin very good. we have sushi and a benton box both very good. menu large alot to choose from.

good sushi!. very cool sushi restaurant next to stoneridge plaza. nice ambiance and great food. every tuesday they have half price rolls.

simply fantastic. my wife and i are real foodies, and this place never disappoints. everyone who works there is a pleasure to interact with. we have done several omakases at kihachi (columbus monthly 5 star) and i think tora may be the young challenger for top asian restaurant (kihachi is strictly japanese - tora has a more diverse menu) in columbus. executive chief scott is gifted in his presentation and knife skills. to all my fellow slow food columbus foodies... make the trip to morse and hamilton. tonight the gratis amuse bouche (can you really use that phrase at an asian restaurant?) was grilled gooey duck (insanely good), seaweed salad, and baby octopus. would have been a $15 order anywhere else. scott has indicated he can put together an omakase if you desire. i cannot be strong enough in my praise. quickly becoming a family favorite.

disappointing. it was 7 pm saturday evening. my husband and i were shown to a table. the main course was delivered prior to the appetizer. we were told the kitchen was too busy because many people visiting the restaurant had groupon. my husband's broiled fish portion was micro-tiny. too many people had groupon. service was spotty because they restaurant was overwhelmed by groupon.

my soup is yummy. the pork is tender. the noodles are springy. the broth is rich and deep, but light on the tongue. the nanami togarashi offered up with the soup added a nice spicy kick.

the hostess was great. the bearded waiter was cute. i sat at the sushi bar. loved the crunchy little fish eggs on top of my island roll. best sushi in columbus, ohio.

new in town.. tora is a real gem -- just stopped in on the spur of the moment and it was a great experience. we had a variety of rolls and it was fresh and delicious! very curteous staff and clean restaurant. looking forward to going back for the tuesday specials.

never step foot into this restaurant with kids! i took my parents to this restaurant as they love sushi and were visiting from out of town. the very rude hostess told us no room was available when clearly several tables available. could not believe this after have been to many restaurants in several different countries.

sushi us fresh but the seafood stone pot barely contained any seafood. disappointed with last visit.

used to love--now just like. i used to eat here all the time, especially on tuesday nights for half off sushi. however, they decided to change their half off sushi menu to only suit those who eat meat. before, they included about 5 different vegan and vegetarian rolls for those to enjoy the half off special, but now the only choices are paying full price or to give up the "no-meat" eating lifestyle. they don't even have fried rice... very disappointing for a japanese restaurant.

tora is a great find!. this restaurant seems out of the way but it was very worth it. i had enjoyed restaurant hama in easton before it closed and i couldn't find another comparable asian cuisine inspired restaurant. i even tried asian gourmet. the prices may be a little high but the quality of food made up for it. i had the crabcake appetizer, and seafood hibachi box. i recommend boxes for lunch and anyone who wants to try a few things because it comes with a few types of salad, rice, califonia roll, and 3 pieces of sashimi (a piece of fish on a pad of rice)
my friend had the seafood bi bim bap which i personally prefer bulgolgi but what she had was good too.
if you are new to sushi, try a specialty cooked roll.

delicious, inexpensive food!. my wife and i recently enjoyed a sunday night dinner at tora tora. we ordered tempura don ($13) and gyoza dumplings ($6), and we ate every bite!

everything was delicious, service was excellent and the restaurant is very clean. decor at this white tablecloth restaurant was lovely and calming. we'll be back!

amazing! a little expensive, but so good!!. everything was amazingly delicious, and so elegant and fresh and beautiful. the service was spectacular and thoughtful. i loved every minute, although, it was a little pricey, preventing frequent visits -- but for a sometimes treat, this place is a secret little pretty pearl hidden in the rough oyster shell of a gahanna strip mall. worth a try!!
