best food in wichita. this has been my favorite restaurant in town for about 6 or 7 years now. it is by no means a cheap restaurant, but the trip is more than worth the price.

i'd recommend anyone who is going for the first time orders the staple dish, the rotisserie chicken. it is always flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the garlic mashed redskin potatoes and glazed carrots are two of the best side dishes i've ever had.

other dishes on the menu are equally as good. steaks are well-prepared, the salads are fantastic, and the dishes that incorporate the chicken into them are very well done.

the restaurant has a very welcoming yet classy atmosphere, and the waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. i may be a bit biased, but i honestly feel that redrock is home of wichita's best eats.

highly recommend. went on a date friday night and arrived around 7:30 had a 20 minute wait, so we sat at the bar and got a caramel apple martini. very good. i usually get the rotisserie chicken but friday night i thought i might try something else. i got a house salad, steak and enchilada platter, and shared something chocolate. without thinking i order the house salad and if you like a lot of dressing on your salad its great. the dressing is very flavorful but i should of requested it on the side. also, when i order the steak and enchilada platter i forgot to request the steak to be medium rare and came to the table well done. i don't know if i considered that my waitress' fault or mine but i mentioned it and i was offered another steak. if you like chocolate, caramel, cake, vanilla ice cream, and whip cream you will love their something chocolate. it is excellent and a big factor why i keep coming back. yes it's pricey but food is great. staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to meet your needs. the environment is romantic and very clean.

well, it's certainly not cheap.... but the food is really, really good! i would eat here again if i wanted to spend this much! i tried the chicken and the steak in a combo platter and they were both amazing.

good food. i like the chicken and the house salad is great. i've been there several times for dinner and lunch. the owner has some issues though, so i won't be back. some of my friends have had a bad experience too.

their steak and potatoes are excellent. kind of pricey but excellent food and atmosphere along with their service:)

redrock is hands down one of the best restaurants in wichita. the smoked salmon is to die for and the service is exceptional. we have never had a bad meal here.

overpriced chicken. limited menu... you'd better be in the mood for chicken... and quite overpriced. you'd also better be in the mood to smell like fire roasted chicken when you leave because they have the rotisseries right there in the middle of everything.

good food. chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread very good and pork chops were huge and excellent. should go here more often than we do.

gold standard. this is the restaurant that i hold out as the gold standard to compare all other wichita restaurants to. the food, service and value are top notch. the only negatives are the long waits for tables (although there is a pier 1 nearby that my wife likes to kill time in while waiting) and the high noise level. the house salad is the best in wichita. why anyone would order anything other than the fantastic steaks(my wife orders seafood) is beyond me?
don't try anything else until you have gone to redrock. on the rare occassion when there is a service issue the management staff has always taken care of the problem to our satisfaction quickly. this review has made me hungry. i can't finish it-i'm going there now.

we don't take reservations. my wife called to make a reservation over a holiday. the girl told my wife that they do not take reservations for tables less than 5. we went anyway and behold all of the parties of 2 with reservations that were being seated. needless to say, it disgusted us so much that we never went back.

great meal, busy restaurant. everything we had was very good (cluck & oink as well as a steak). sides were great as was the corn bread appetizer. we were impressed with the top-notch service and efficiency of the staff. highly recommend (even on a busy friday night!)

best house salad in wichita!!!! redrock has a great atmosphere, friendly waiters, and the food is amazing. their dishes have the southwestern flavor without being too overwhelming. there steak with melted blue cheese accompanied with red skin mashed potatoes is to die for.

within reach. i love this restaurant. i can't believe i haven't voted on this one yet. i always get the rotiserrie chicken with red skin mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. this time i added a side salad with the adobo dressing. definitely a must have. in fact, i think i will get the salad with chicken on top. soooo good!

only crinkle in our night was the wait staff. is it really necessary to reach over the diner to pick up the empty wrappers, every single time you use them? it was quite rude. i understand they want to keep the table clean, but my goodness. our waitress did this like 5 times. quite annoying!
