top notch. the food at the red cow was excellent, but that was only part of an enjoyable experience. the atmosphere was lively and the crowd was pleasurably diverse. no matter who you were with or by, it felt comfortable and "hip." the blue cheese burger was fantastic; possibly the best all around burger i've had in years. the exterior may be underwhelming, but once you get inside this is a great place to dine.

best service and burgers. i am an aficionado of burgers and service and wine and i cannot recommend this place enough. my first time, but not my last.

my mom and i were on the search for a good place to eat for a vegetarian meal, and were recommended to eat the impossible burger and the sweet potato fries. oh. my. gosh. hands down the best veggie burger i’ve had in my 4 years of being a vegetarian. my meat eating mother hasn’t been able to stop raving about it either. tastes just like meat she said. the sweet potato fries and dipping sauce are a must as well. great service and location!

most meals on this trip to “the land of 10,000 lakes” was okay and not worth taking the time to write something let alone give a rating - but, the red cow wow’d me with great food and service.

tried the poutine which was different than what i’m use to with cheese curds, but the beef and melted cheddar was very good - although i felt the need for a touch of sriracha.

then, had the manhattan 2.0 burger on a pretzel bun with pork belly. cooked just right and required no extra condiments.

dessert was unique with their toffee cake. great finish which was complimented with friendly service by droo.

will come back.

i've never had a single menu item taste less than amazing. best happy hour in edina, amazing scotch eggs, and fabulous staff. if you want an incredible burger, the award winning manhattan is beyond anything i've ever had (and it even converted this die-hard nook devotee).

we were their during happy hour appetizers and full glass of wine eere haf the prise
we ordered
wisconsin cheese curd
chickpea burger veggie
tennessee chicken burger but this was not available so grilled burger with tennessee hot sauce
wine and beer recommend by the server were good too ( dint remember the name though)
we love the food
cheese curd were ok had tried more delicious in madison wisconsin
the service was awesome
we will definitely visit this restaurant again soon
i would recommend to everyone please try this restaurant

went mid-day after no luck three times trying for dinner. got the double patty and it was great! thin patties with a nice crispy edge. the pretzel app was more like pretzel bread than a true pretzel and the cheese sauce was soupy. skip that. good service.

if you can stand the wait, this place is fantastic! laid back atmosphere, accommodating and attentive wait staff, and terrific burgers! my cowboy burger was perfectly done and tasted amazing with my sweet potato fries!

loved the red cow and can't wait to go back. had one of the best turkey burgers ever! it had a kick to it but was not too spicy for this mn girl. husband had the cowboy burger and he thought it was great. burgers are so big, we each could only eat half! service was awesome and huge selection of beers.

best burgers and beer in the mpls/st. paul area. they are always tweaking the menu adding new and creative options. if you are looking for an incredible beer list look no further.

best happy hour in the neighborhood.  favorites: asian flavored wings, fish hamburger, and the pumpkin beer (seasonal).  they even serve delirious beer!  their gluten free buns even taste good.  we like to go for the late night happy hour - much more mellow.  great atmosphere.

delicious burgers! anything with the pretzel bun is divine. i always have to order sweet potato fries with the berry ketchup! i want to bottle it up and take it home. so yum! try the scotch eggs because it's different, but tastey. atmosphere is very nice and they have a good selection of beer and wine.

i am fairly certain that the house-made potato chips are the epitome of the fried potato experience. of course the burgers are excellent, but the beet and quinoa salad is an excellent choice for something lighter.

tried for the first time today at 5:30 pm. too noisy! could not carry on a conversation. service marginal. they don't have real ketchup. probably won't come back.
