renee was great, the beers were great, the people were great and the food was good. i had aged pork burger which was very good. my wife had the sliders also good. the frys were mediocre. the rest was great.

rene's. it's like "friends" where everyone know your name. a great place for a comfortable meal,
breakfast, lunch or diner. the menu is complete enough for any pallet.
rene has transformed a tired old place into her own space with room to share a good meal.
it's my new home away from home.
search it out - you won't be disappointed.

ranee's on main in oregon city is a find. we enjoyed good meals at ranee's this evening. the pub deserves the high ratings they have received. great value.

new favorite. husband loved the country fried steak - said it was like home cooked. i loved the drinks and my taco salad.

great food. renee's restaurant in oregon city on main street across from dutch brothers has the best fresh home made food i have had in a long time. great atmosphere, friendly and great service. reasonable prices for the quality food they put out. defiantly going back to try other food on the menu. would recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and a good drink.

great place to eat.!!!!. my husbad & i shared their fish & chips lunch. it was more than enough for the 2 of us. most places will not let youshare. it was so tasty that we coming back agaj.great place and really great food. see you.

yes, you can get better. but with that said comes an explanation.
too many people give five stars when rating a place, where one or two would be appropriate.
my ratings, on a one to five scale, would place most establishments at a one or two.
2% would make a five rating.
ranee's, i would give a 3 on this scale. very high, because the "value" of my meal was excellent.
yes, you can get better, but for a very good meal, this place looks to be right up there.
yes, i will be returning.

i am an extremely picky person.

breakfast is a must try, the timmy special is rediculously good. we were a party of 5, ranee was happy to push some tables together an accommodate our group. everyone enjoyed the meal from the timmy to the chicken fried steak and eggs. do yourself a favor and try it.

loved the prime rib dip. wife was i'll so i got it to go. who knew that they would box it up for you? the chef is amazing, the fresh in house cured meat might as well be from a new york deli. the slaw was so fresh, crispy, and sweet i'll be going back for more of the sides, much less the awesome sammy's.

ruben, ruben, ruben, they all love the ruben. the rachel is where it's at. no krout, just slaw, and house made meat, sauce, and meaty, melty wonderfullness. i'd love the ruben too if i could get past the krout, but the smell alone puts me off. if you want the sweet, tender, salty, cheesyness, but no krout. get the rachel, it's a beautiful thing.

i had the pork burger,,mmmm! the wife had the basic burger, anything but basic. these things were loaded and very good. looking forward to exploring the menu further. the bloody mary will make your toes curl, partnered with the extensive wine selection you can't go wrong at this little oc gem.

love this place. renee makes everyone a friend, good food.
so nice to have such a friendly pub, try the signature hamburger.

a nice addition to the neighborhood. we stopped in to try renee's yesterday (sunday at noon) and were really impressed. thank goodness someone took over this location which was a chinese dive. renee's is located directly across from dutch brothers on main. we tried their scampi dish which was fabulous. several large shrimp over pasta. it was seasoned perfectly with a light lemon sauce. the dish came with a choice of soup or salad and we opted for the homemade chicken and rice soup which was also very good. we also ordered the fish tacos which were good. thank goodness they used "real fish" and not fish sticks with that crummy white sauce you so usually find at places.
we were told that the burgers (they have several kind including a pork burger) are very good and rumor has it that the pastrami sandwich is to die for. also their turkey is cooked in house for the turkey sandwiches and the soup and chili is homemade and prepared daily.
this is not a big time fancy restaurant..it is a nice neighborhood bar/restaurant that is comfortable..with a couple of couches even..with lots of flat screen t.v.'s for watching the games and enjoying time with friends while you have good food. the service was friendly and up beat and the place had a nice crowd for noon on sunday's.. so word is spreading.
they also have an extensive breakfast menu.

best spot in oregon city. stumbled upon this for lunch. i almost walked out because it was a pub and i don't like pub food. but, they serve the best homemade, nutritionally good food and portions were large. no iceberg lettuce here. the service was excellent. the owner waited on us and she was a doll. there are two rooms, one with tvs and the other a game room with dining tables. the bathroom was clean and artsy. i am going back tonight to see what the happy hour is like and am excited. i immediately left and text my friends to meet sometime.

this is a great new addition to oregon city! very clean, classy, great people here. and, the food is amazing! we've been here for dinner, breakfast (the bloody marys are phenomenal!) and happy hour. i would, and have been, recommending to everyone!

ranee has transformed a sad and tired space into a fresh and modern restaurant and bar that is really welcoming and comfortable.

they have a great menu with many of the sandwich meats cooked on site. they offer house made chili, chowder and soup daily.

today i tried my favorite reuben with tater tots. here it's called "the armando reuben". it was everything i want in a reuben. fresh, flavorful corned beef, great swiss cheese and outstanding kraut. the tater tots were cooked perfect.

the sandwich and tots was $8.75 which i thought was the perfect price point for this excellent lunch.

i will definitely be back to this bright spot in oregon city's restaurant offerings.
