stopped by here on the way home from a nascar race. simply delicious. if you've been to the raices in old san juan, puerto rico, then you'll agree that the food is just as delicious in this location. the only thing missing when comparing would be the decor and atmosphere. everything else is great. the staff is friendly and service time was fine. food came out still sizzling. we recommend the empanadilla de jueyes and the bacalaito for appetizers and all of the entree selections we had were yummy (mofongo relleno with steak and onions, dufongo relleno with pork, and rice, beans, tostones, and cubed pork). location is questionable and the parking area quite dirty (located in a small strip mall), but don't let this deter you from going here. if you are looking for authentic puerto rican fare, this is the only place you should go.
