pw pizza

there are some great pizza places in st. louis and pw pizza fits right in. pdubz caters well to vegetarians and vegans. we ordered two:
vegged out 13.99 - chimichurri, roasted eggplant, roasted red pepper, artichoke heart, caramelized onion, black olive, mozzarella & goat cheese.

the chimichuri sauce was amazing on the pizza. we got pizza sauce on the side which costs extra :( seriously, wtf is that, for real you have to charge over a dollar for a little f-n cup of sauce. @ least they allowed us to substitute toppings with no extra cost .

our carry-out lunch order was over $30. i could imagine how deep we'd have to reach in the pockets if we went for dinner and drinks...ouch!

if they knew how to properly bake a pizza it would be my favorite in town. it was delicious but the crust was not crispy @ all.

we ordered carry-out over the phone. upon pick-up we noticed a wonderful beer selection and nice atmosphere. i saw on-line that they make their own fennel sausage and offer a gluten free crust. they pretty much rock!!!

fantastic! very relaxed and friendly. the hard part was settling on which kind of pizza to get because they all looked great. also a huge brew selection. we were very impressed, and excited to go back!

as a pilot, i eat pizza all over the country. i think this is the best tasting pizza i've ever had. delicious sauce, top quality toppings, and a crust that has something for everyone.

first visit to pw pizza and we loved it! the pizza was awesome (even yummy gluten free crust). we had a salad too which was addicting. and sarah n gave us some great menu suggestions and provided excellent service. we will be back!!

pizza was pretty good, but definitely not the best in st. louis. i'd go back here if someone else paid for it, but out of pocket is choose someplace else.

paul and wendy hamilton may be very good at what they do but they have a lot to learn about african americans. why they allow their staff to seat a black couple in the worst seat in the house at pw pizza is baffling. all the way to the back of the place... right next to the kitchen. utterly unacceptable. i left and won't be back. but i'm sure they don't really care.

gluten free option is not vegan... contains milk powder. i ate here tonight... or tried to. i have a milk/casein allergy and am under doctor's orders to avoid wheat. i noted that the menu and online reviews emphasized vegan and gluten-free options. they should have stressed vegan *or* gluten-free options. sadly, i found that the gluten-free crust contains milk powder. looking over the sandwiches and salads, there was no safe option. i ended up with a dressed-up bowl of lettuce while i watch others eating pizza. if you have gluten and milk issues, you can't really eat here.

solid pie!. had "the wolf" and it was terrific. good menu, nice place

wolf pizza and house salad. highly recommend! my husband and i split a large house salad and wolf pizza. the salad was very good with a really tasty vinaigrette dressing. the pizza was great! homemade sausage with fennel topping was fantastic. the crust was perfect. great service. clean restaurant. if we are ever in st. louis again, we would definitely want to come here again.

best spinach artichoke dip & pita bread!. pw pizza has the yummiest spinach artichoke dip in st. louis. it is served with warm pita bread....delicious!

in the past we've been loyal to dewey's and pi pizzeria when it came to pizza in st. louis (neither of which is 'st. louis-style pizza'), but we will absolutely be returning to pw when the craving strikes!

great pizza. my fiancee and i cant leave without finishing "the wolf" ourselves. the desserts are delicious. i cant say enough good things about this place.

we also enjoy the selection of beers, ciders and wines.

the shop there has really cute wine things among other kitchen items.

we will be back.

it is my favorite place to eat! every pizza is great and the california salad is great!
