cajun-mexican-american fusion. we went here late-ish one night, and we weren't very hungry, so we only ordered one entree and 2 starters. we sat round the back, outside, which proved a smart move, as the front dining area is more a bar and very noisy so if you want a more relaxed intimate experience definitely get a seat out back.
the food is basically a fusion cuisine; cajun themed tacos, the gulf shrimp and crawfish etouffee was unbelievable, etcetera. the food is pricey, but on balance, i would say that the quality definitely is up there.
their beer selection, too, is up to the level you'd expect for $18 a plate restaurants, with a mix of craft brewery, local and imported beers.
would go back on a special occasion for dinner, and will definitely go back for lunch some time.
