spectacular!. the beignets remind me of the elephant ears i used to eat at food fairs when i was younger. just-fried dough and powdered sugar can't get any better. one of the girls here deserves extra kudos b/c she fired up the fryer and made the beignets for us when we arrived a bit after closing time upon hearing that i was only in town for the weekend. she was my hero of the day.
