i recently stopped in potbelly sandwich shop to try a couple of new items. i tried their new soup – sriracha black bean. it is rare that i eat a soup that doesn’t need a little salt or pepper. this was not the case with the sriracha black bean soup. it needed nothing. this soup was right amount of spicy, with bits of tomato, onion, green pepper and savory black beans. and it is vegan.

great fresh sandwiches. although i wud love a more variety of sides nd dressing.. .. love the italian seasoning on hot melted cheese nd the mac n cheese

this is the third potbelly i’ve been to. the first, in the chicago area several years ago, i wasn’t particularly impressed by. the location at campbell and us75 in richardson is pretty good. and so is this one. i got a farmhouse salad; it was pretty darn good. raegan got a grilled chicken sandwich, erin just got just a cup of broccoli cheese soup, and ian just got a cup of chili. all of this was very good. service was fast and friendly. our check was $33.02. the iced tea was excellent. not a bad sandwich place at all.

good lunch today. had a very good takeaway lunch yesterday. used the online ordering system to get lunch for four people. i got a toasty turkey blt with extra meat. i also got a gallon of very good sweet tea. my check was $16.45 ($9 of that was the tea). the sandwich was very good, and the order was ready right on time. good stuff.

this place is on the parking lot of the doubletree hotel in richardson. raegan and erin got several lunches here this week, and we decided to hit it for lunch today. great lunch! raegan got a hot ham and cheese, erin a chicken and cheddar, and i got hot turkey. all were very good. i really liked my turkey sandwich; it was toasted with swiss cheese, i got it with lettuce, ranch, and mayo. i got some popchips bbq chips, but i didn’t like them at all; i only had a couple. the iced tea was very good. nothing was left of the sandwiches. service was fast and very friendly. our check was $27.01. we ate at our first potbelly while on a trip to chicago about five years ago; i don’t remember much about it. i will remember this visit.

good chicken salad sandwich!. the chicken salad sandwich is the best. seriously, i've had a lot of chicken salad sandwiches at other restaurants, and this one surpasses them all.

and i love the milkshakes!

quality everything. when i went on a low carb kick a while back i found myself constantly getting their salad's...and they were surprisingly good! it was always fresh, the dressing (i think it was light something or other) was tasty, and their croutons were the icing on the cake. or salad. their subs are also mighty good.

favorites: salad's, any of their subs

negative: there aren't any too close to where i live!

great sandwiches & cookies. i miss going to potbelly for lunch, getting a wreck w/ everything, the jalepeno flavored chips, a drink, and one or the other of the cookie types they had. i moved and now the closest one is waaaay too far to go just for a lunch break.

great sandwiches. great service. great cookies!
