every time i've tried to eat there the food is horrible, greasy,tasteless won't be back. if you just want to drink beer it's your place, but the food sucks!

horrible service. just left this restaurant. we were so excited to try it. unfortunately after sitting at a table for 20 minutes with no one taking our order (after having been brought menus and drinks by a waiter who was anything but friendly), we got up and left. i've never had such poor service or been completely ignored. sad...

my husband & i ate there for lunch on a sunday afternoon. the food was very good, hot, timely, good size portions. the staff was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable about area. nice pub type setting with enclosed porch in back. will definitely go back.

pretty good food but they really need to do away with the undercooked minute rice. yuck! no restaurant has any business serving that crap. however! the rest of the food and service was great and loved the atmosphere. same owners as moon time so the menus are very similar which i didn't like. but it's still one of the best places to go in town.

our standard night out usually includes a meal at the porch or one of her sister pubs. we're never disappointed! great food, drinks, service & atmosphere...they have it all, & for reasonable prices. some of our faves are the santa fe chicken sandwich, french dip (best anywhere!), lamb sandwich, & of course the roasted corn pasta salad. my mom loved the potato salad, & she doesn't like any other but her own. my husband loves the gumbo (it's got too much going on for me). if you're looking for a drink, try the pear-tini...delicious!

excellent trout!. i've had their trout dinner several times, and i'm hooked! makes me want to go out fishing and get me some of my own! good service always, crowded at the times you'd expect which makes me think others think it's good too. i look for a place to be crowded once in awhile as it's a vote of confidence from their clientele! good prices too!

the porch public house in hayden is the perfect place to grab a beer with friends or enjoy a casual dinner on a saturday night. the locals love the porch for its easy location and the delicious food that is so effortlessly served up. it gives you the same great atmosphere, food and beer as the elk public house , being that it is a sister restaurant to browne's addition's favorite neighborhood eatery. the porch is date ready yet family friendly. the prices are affordable and the quality of food will impress you. we happened upon the porch last night just at the right time. it was not too busy yet and we had our pick of seats. there is seating available at the bar, in the dining room and then a cozy porch, which is fitting based on the name. in the summer time the porch seating area offers great views of the golf course adjacent to the restaurant and the side door rolls up like a garage so you get the feeling of dining al fresco. the menu is great offering you a considerable selection of

had the pork tacos, excellent flavor and they were a nice mexican inspired dish. a freshly made salsa would be a welcomed addition although they did have a few "gourmet" hot sauces to choose from
