very good diner. best dinner in this area hands down, clean, good, fast service with a glass of wine too :)

i had a great time at the pompton queen diner, i had the seafood platter and it was great but i think the highlight was the cream of turkey, shout out to lee our awesome waitress with the recommendation, she truly offered service with a smile and made our dining experience special thanks lee

typical diner fare. they do need to add more gravy to their disco fries. the chicken salad club is really good. the house salad is good too. the pizza burger was good as well. the cookie's and cream cheesecake was good as well. the service was top notch. recommended.icebear

i eat here often. quinoa and kale salad, cheese steak, south city burger, breakfast quesadilla, any steak (but try the churasco 1st), triple berry pancakes, mama mia salad (add grilled chicken), brooklyn omelet, eggs benedict with spinach, bagel deluxe with lox and cream cheese... some of my go to's. don't forget to upgrade to waffle fries (well done!) or onion rings for your side dish, totally worth the extra dollar :d

waffle sundae for desert! or cheesecake, lemon meringue, chocolate fudge cake. now i need to go there later :o

i've brought a variety of friends and family and there is always something for everyone. very satisfying.

the pompton queen is known locally as being one of the better diners in the area (and it's true) however, they too need to up-the-ante when it comes to their burgers. don't get me wrong, they start with what tastes like a very good grade of black angus meat, but as with most diners, the doneness of your burger can range from cold inside to a charcoal briquette. i ordered mine med/rare and received the med/well and the fact that the burger was so very dry, lead me to believe the cook kept pressing the burger on the grill (which as we all know, is a sacrilegious act). i found this to be the only downside of what was otherwise a very well put together sandwich. i'm giving it a 7.5/10 on the bc rating scale.

outstanding. i haven't eaten in jersey for 40 years, but the pompton queen diner & restaurant serves excellent food at reasonable prices, and you get more than you can comfortably consume. wait staff is attentive without being obtrusive. you gotta try this place!

the best diner in jersey.. i am serious. this diner, on top of the best diner food that i have had as of yet, is 24 hours and serves liquor. it doesn't get any better than that!
