pleasure house is one hell of a place. it can be described in three components - the taste, the ambience, and the uncle.
the taste : the taste of any dish available at pleasure house is so amazing that you will forget the best taste you had last time. every dish takes time to be prepare because it is prepared after you order it. i guess aunty prepares the dishes herself or with some help and the taste really rocks. i have tried cole slaw sandwich (rs. 30), veg grilled sandwich (rs. 25), and some white pasta (rs. forgot) and let me tell you that the taste was so nice that i could actually pay 10 times for this taste (one day if required to, not everytime). first time, i went and i had to wait for like long time to get my order and i was thinking in my mind like i would not come again to this place, but as soon as my order was delivered and as i tasted the first bite, all my anger melted away and i started coming here again and again. they have lots of other dishes and bevarages too and you can try in lots of varieties.
the ambience : located in indrapuri (the land of 51000+ girl's hostels), this place is very well designed in the parking space of uncle's home bungalow (uncle is the owner). the walls are painted with cartoons. there is a shade but it feels like open-roof restaurant. light music keeps going in varying types of playlists. there is no waiter. its self service. you have to give your name while giving order and advance payment. then you sit and relax and talk. when your order is ready, uncle calls your name on mike and you can go and collect your order. you dont have to go to counter and ask again and again for the order. this is very efficient system and every such system makes me feel like this place is too much customer oriented and friendly. you can sit there literally for hours and keep talking and eating.
the uncle : well, the uncle and aunty run the restaurant. they both are very generous and large-hearted. the way they talk, i can tell you no one talks in indore. people are so anti-customer oriented in indore that the behavior you get from this place makes you feel you are in heaven. it makes you feel like home. uncle and aunty are very welcoming and i wish they live really long. also once, i had forgotten my very important documents at pleasure house but i called uncle and asked him if he found them. he had found them and kept them safely. uncle also remembers every customer's name and he greets you with your name anytime you go. this treatment of customers really adds taste to their dishes and the whole thing.
