platform pizza

people often walk into burger box right beside it but it has gotten easier to spot .the pizzas are thin and crispy and always delicious, the salads are also tasty and lasagne comes with a layer of pastry on top which is actually lovely .the children's menu is rather pricey for what you get and the ambience is mysterious with a walk in wardrobe to the toilets but the music can be played a bit loud. all in all it's a place i will defiantly visit again

we really loved the ambience, services 

we booked a table for 7pm but only bar seats were available which we didn't mind. when we got there there was actually a table free which was given to us added bonus. i ordered pizza and fries. the pizza was delicious and the fries were also lovely with cheese grated on them. the setting is also lovely with lovely stone walls and candles burning. prices were also very reasonable.

oh my god. my new favourite place.
had heard so much about this spot but had never gotten around to visiting it. went tonight with my boyfriend for some dinner and some drinks in bray. such a cool spot, amazing music and friendly relaxed staff. got the pepperoni pizza and my boyfriend got the pulled pork with pineapple, and it came with some leaves which i put on mine. pepperoni and chorizo was nice and spicey. had the bray bré cocktail, oh my god... passion fruit, lime and vanilla vodka with prosecco on the side. one of the nicest cocktails i have ever had. you can taste the alcohol yet the flavours are amazing. really cool layout to the place also, the kitchen is placed in the middle of the restaurant and you have a clear view of the chefs at work. it's rare to find a place with both great food and drink. no complaints

platform pizza is a bray gem. i'm happy to say the best pizza i've had in a very long time! a particular mention must go to amazing 'chronicles of narnia' toliets, so quirky and amazing! enough about the toilets though, lets talk about the food!

i was lucky enough to try an array of dishes on the menu and everything tasted so so good. the starters and mains ( which were accompanied with matching craft cider and beer) were both stunning. my favourites would have to be the candied walnut, goats cheeses and maple syrup pizza, the punjabi pizza, the breakfast pizza and the beautiful vegetarian and moroccan chicken flatbreads.

the management and staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive to every single detail - i cannot wait to return.

i had been dying to try platform pizza for ages and am so happy i finally got to eat here. i had the opportunity to try a few of the starters and a selection of pizzas. i literally can't fault a single thing i ate. everything was delicious. i particularly loved the meatballs and the moroccan chicken flatbread as well as the punjabi pizza. i have to say all of their pizzas were so creative which is nice to see. the staff were so friendly and helpful and the service was spot on. i would highly recommend this place if you're in the area, and if you're not it is definitely worth the trip. i am already looking forward to going back.

have been to platform before and loved it - had my choice of pizza being a pepperoni and also had the nutella pizza for dessert which was huge and devo enough to share. this time i went for the zomatoe meet up and it was fab- got to try so many dishes and not a bad bite was had- such a buzzy spot for an occasion- the food really lenses to sharing too! made our way through the menu including craft beer and cider, flatbreads, wings, calamari and of course a variety of pizzas! they do some really interesting flavours! i decided to sample ones i wouldn't usually have including the maple syrup, walnut and goats cheese which was delicious, the ground beef and jalepino and the breakfast pizza! highlights for me were the morrocan chicken flatbread which would defo fill u up, the ground beef pizza and the calamari- but all in all it was fab! can't wait to return! thanks zomatoe! karen aherne rob conway louise

i'm a major pizza lover, so i've tried my fair share. i went to platform pizza for a zomato meetup, and was beyond impressed. the atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool, and the interior is old-warehouse style. there are plenty of options on the menu, both traditional and unusual choices. to start i tried the moroccan pizza flatbread, which i wouldn't usually go for but loved. i also tried some meatballs and the wings, which were full of flavour. my mouth is watering just writing about them! i gave the goats cheese, mozzarella, pancetta, walnuts and maple syrup pizza a go and fell in love. the base was the perfect balance between crispy and soft, and wasn't too thick or too thin. if you've never tried walnut and maple syrup on a pizza, this is the place to try it! i couldn't believe the quality of the food and the restaurant itself. it's exactly what i look for in a restaurant - great food, great pizza and great atmosphere. i'm already looking forward to going back!

wow! was lucky enough to come here for a zomato meet up recently. i was blown away!! we were completely indulged. hilights for me were; the moroccan flat bread chicken was out of this world! the calamari and prawns fritto cooked to perfection. the pizzas are on another level; we sampled lots but my faves were the punjabi chicken pizza - so unique and a must try! and then the ground beef chili like pizza - fantastic!

by far one of my favourite places to eat!
i've been going here regularly since it opened about 2 years ago or so and i have never had a bad meal. i've tried a lot of the things on the menu at this stage i would nearly recommend everything it really depends on what mood you are in. the pizzas and flatbreads are all a little different to ones that you would get anywhere else with them putting their quirky twist on the majority of them, i personally love the goats cheese, maple and pecan pizza. they do great boneless wings (which are technically just chicken chunks) but they are much easier for eating, i love their bootleg ones. my all time favourite thing on the menu has to be the sweet potato and spiced bacon salad it tastes amazing and is really filling for a salad. i'd usually go for an antipasti to share for starters or their calamari and prawns and of course you always have to finish with their indulgent desert pizza.
not only is the food in platform spot on, but the staff are bubbly and friendly and the environment in so chilled out even when they are out the door with customers. definitely one to visit

i can't give anything but a five!

we brought my fiancé's little brother with us.

thanks to a delay in finishing our drinks at brew dock on amiens street we missed a dart and ended up being 15 minutes late but there was no issue raised which i find really impressive.

we were sat across from the entrance to narnia (the toilet!) so got a better photo of it this time :)

for starters we shared some of the boneless chicken wings. we chose the bootleg (sweet smoky bbq sauce) and caribbean jerk (mellow jamaican jerk seasoning) wings... they were sweet, tangy and had just a little kick. they went really nice with the craigie's ballyhook flyer cider i drank to start.

for main i ordered the same pizza as last time - goats cheese, mozzarella, pancetta, walnuts and maple syrup. i should really apologise to them again - i'm so fussy as i don't like tomato sauce based pizza and so i ordered it without. unfortunately it came out with tomato sauce. they had no problem at all swapping it over - they really were so good about it but i still feel guilty as i hate being one of "those" people that make a fuss.

we also got a side of the sweet potato fries - crispy, sweet and so yum.

the pizza was as good as first visit so the food is consistently excellent. there were three v clean boards.

then it came to dessert. fiancé's brother wanted the pecan pie but i suggested ordering the nutella pizza. i didn't realise it was so big until we were ordering it and kate (i think that was her name, she was excellent!) advised that it's the size of their pizzas with a slightly different base. we agreed we'd share that between the three of us and if there was any left then we could take the rest home. the pizza is served with strawberries and ice cream...

i am not ashamed to tell you there was none to bring home in the box - another empty board! it was absolutely amazing - chocolate lover's nirvana!!!

the second visit (its actually my third visit it a quick stop to pick up a takeaway pizza counts) was as good if not better than our first. i can only tell you that the food is delicious, the staff are lovely and it's well worth a visit out of the city to try here!

i think everyone around bray can agree that platform was a fantastic addition to the area! the only complaints you hear are regarding food comas.

platform has a great atmosphere, always buzzing! the pizzas are delicious and their spelt and gf crusts are as nice as the originals. they have some interesting combos for toppings like the indian pizza, but it actually works! pictured is the vegan pizza, it was absolutely delicious. chips are great too. the salads are nice if you want to be more health conscious. would also recommend the flatbreads.

platform is perfect for a girls night out, serving great cocktails. equally suitable for a satisfying hangover feed.

worth making the trip to bray for!

i love this place! i came here not long ago with my boyfriend as my friend recommended it.! it has a really cosy & chilled vibe. the staff are extremely friendly & attentive, they make you feel really welcome on arrival.! :)
i opted for the sweet potato & spiced bacon salad and also a side of sweet potato chips as i absolutely love them! my dish was delish and filling.! the cocktails are definitely a must try! i tried the bray bre first and it was amazing, you also get a shot of prosecco with them, which really makes the cocktail! the are priced at €8.50 and i have to say they are well worth the money.!
i can't wait to come here again.! :)
