wanted to love it. great building, great service, soggy, uncooked in the middle pizza. i had to fold the center over the end just to pick it up. we did take home our leftovers and attempted to eat it the next day but the sausage smelled and tasted bad so we opted out.

a good place to go if somebody is throwing a lunch party...since a bit expensive.

but has a good ambiance. nice thin crust pizza just like original italian pizza.

so i had a margherita pizza and mista salad.
nice pizza though would love to see some chicken pizza options in their menu.

if you are a fan of greasy, doughy pizza, you're going to hate this place. if you are a fan of deep dish chicago style pizza, keep looking. but if you are looking for super-thin neopolitan style pizza done in an awesome atmosphere brought to you by an attentive waitstaff, maybe this place is for you.

we have been coming to pizzeria testa for close to two years. it's not the cheapest, but it's great pizza and is our go-to for casual date night.

yummmmm. for anyone who understands what pizza is like in italy.... not for your dominos pizza fan. for those curious, if you've never been to enjoy a pizza by slurping it, you're missing out. delicious

worst so far in tx. so disappointed. mostly just tasteless crust and scanty toppings both of which had no flavor. certain that i won't return.

excellent pizza!!!. happy birthday to pizzeria testa!!!! today is their 2nd anniversary!!! we celebrated by having their $2 margarita pizza which is $2 all day long. tomorrow, it's back to the regular price. the pizza was delicious!!! i loved the thin soft crust!! so authentic!!! we also had an appetizer which had tomatoes and mozarrella cheese which was good. we took a garden salad home with pizza for later. our waiter was excellent. his name was jacob. the place is bigger than i thought and it has a nice bar, too. they also have outdoor seating in the front and in the back of the restaurant. i'll be back!!!

i feel that pizzeria testa deserves the praise that it has received. their pizza ovens combined with fresh ingredients really turn out some excellent neapolitan pizza. the service was commendable on this visit and the dining room was very comfortable. this restaurant would be a great place to go on a romantic date or a fun place to dine with a group of friends.

we tried it once. pros: superior quality ingredients, very nice atmosphere with very comfortable chairs, you can sit an watch the artistry in the production line, the outer half of the pizza is good, there are two nice patios. beautiful salads and desserts (hand made). wait staff was knowledgeable and hyper attentive.
cons: very limited toppings, extremely expensive beer and pizza, soggy center on the pies (like uncooked chicken skin...they have to address this to crisp it up).

we don't see any reason to return, but it's ok i guess.

authentic italian pizza. why don't you guys understand that its a neapolitan pizza! its supposed to be a little soggy in the middle! its supposed to be hard to eat compared to a normal slice because it isn't just a normal slice of pizza! you are supposed to fold the slice over when you eat it. they don't make their pizzas with the same cardboard they serve it in like many other places do! these are the best pizzas i have ever had and will stand by that for as long as i live! if only more of you understood the essence that is a neapolitan style pizza. it isn't an american pizza that is loaded with topping and other crap! this is the authentic pizza that you would see in italy guys.

pizzeria testa is such a wonderful place to go to. for those who do not like it simply do not understand... their pizza is made a specific way and is meant to be light and moist and eaten with a fork/knife. it is refreshing to know that their ingredients are imported from italy, fresh, and their dough isn't filled with fat and grease like every other pizza place. i appreciate neapolitan style pizza and will continue to come back to pizzeria testa! the owner is so nice every time i come here as well as the awesome pizza!!

inside the restaurant is open and bustling, but never seems too loud. you can watch the cooks working as they make pizzas and handle the italian ovens. toward the back, there is a semi-private room which is great for overflow on busy nights or for your private event.

place is good for a family atmosphere. was hoping for a nicer date night but we did like it. pizza was good but a little bland. we ordered 5 pizzas for 6 people and honestly we couldn't tell the difference in the pizzas and they all were different. overall good but we personally would go to fireside pies or sauce in mckinney first

should have read the reviews. very disappointed. soggy & uncooked in the middle of the pizza. for the price it should be gourmet but so far from that. perhaps the worst pizza in frisco...i should have selected a frozen pizza from the grocery isle and warmed it.
