bland and overpriced. i had heard good things about this place, but perhaps my family stopped in on a seriously off day? server was attentive but the garlic knots were simply over-baked hunks of bread, the buffalo wings smelled amazing but had no flavor sizzle, the italian sub my daughter ordered also had no flavor and the ziti pasta my son had was almost a half inch of cheeze with barely any pasta or sauce. overall, extremely disappointing.

meh. i stopped in for lunc.... meh.
i stopped in for lunch one afternoon and ordered an italian sub, hoping to get something resembling a good ny style sub and specifically asked that it not be toasted.
it came out toasted anyways and wasn't horrible but it was definitely not what i think of as an italian sub.
it was also not very big and i left hungry.
i wont bother going back.

we love eating at the restaurant and take was great too. we live close and have pizza and/or kids meals once a week. kids love the frozen grapes and yes they have great beers. wish they still did beer poker, but overall we love it there!

tried a couple small pizzas here a couple times now. the last time we ordered the aguascaliente and the vegetarian. both are solid. we live close by and this is the best option for pizza in the immediate area. it doesnt knock my socks off or anything, but its pretty good, although we havent tried much on the menu yet. some decent options and certainly better than big delivery chains. never eaten inside (always get take out) so i cant comment on the service or anything. worth trying.

pizza n wangs. pizza is savory but wings are breaded. just a heads up. they have a great beer selection and make sure they know you're there when sitting outside.

...followed up the nachos with wings and a pizza. buffalo wings are the perfect snow day food; they’re fun to eat and the spice will warm you right up. pizza peel’s wings are awesome; they are huge, are super crispy, but the chicken on the inside is still moist and flavorful. we got an order with traditional buffalo sauce, which was right on point

eh. that's the best i can say. pizza is very mediocre. the ambiance...hmmmm...loud overbearing crammed. i could forgive that for good food but.....needless to say i'll be going elsewhere for my pizza.

this place is equals awesome!
my first time here and def not my last. we ordered a large bbq chicken pizza! it has bbq sauce, chicken, red onions, roasted red peppers, cheddar, mozzarella cheese and cilantro on it!
it was delicious!
i highly recommend it this place rocks!
i was half way through my third slice when i noticed something... there was no grease on it. you know how some pizzas have like pools of grease on them?
well that grosses me out sometimes i even use a napkin to get excess grease off.
this pizza was not greasy at all very cool in my book.

needless to say "i love this place!"

secret menu?. if anyone has figured out how to reel the patrons in, pizza peel has the winning combination. everything here tastes fresh from the farm, which is hard to do with any good ol' pizza pie. add in a dazzling craft beer menu, and you have the ultimate happy hour setup for the cotswold crowd.

make sure you ask your server about the "secret" menu they have - the staff over time has put together an amazing list of specialty pizza recipes that are to die for. they also cater very well to vegetarian needs, and have great italian sandwich options for those who don't want to invest in cramming all the pizza leftovers in the fridge. this spot is a must try for anyone with the munchies!

i recently had the chance to try the pizza peel and tap room on colwick road near cotswold. the pizza peel turns out custom and specialty pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and salads and boasts an impressive beer menu. i like that pizzas are available in personal size portions and you can make even a personal size half and half - fun! there is also a secret menu. ask for it. i tried the above "no apologies pizza" from the secret menu which has chipotle hot tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, chorizo sausage, spinach, red onion and whole roasted garlic - whew, that was one fully loaded and tasty pizza! the roasted veggie (available on the regular menu) was also very good. the dough on both pizzas tasted fresh and well cooked.
