pisharody's located new thrissur bus stand in kerala.
ambience : very traditional old look with modern art inside.
food : they serve sadhya (lunch) as usual on banana leave with variety of dishes at cost of 140.
after meal their payassam was awesome.
staff: experienced and well trained.
must visit restaurant.

i visited this restaurant today morning 8.30 am(20/12/2020) worst place. pros 1) good location ( near round) 2) heritage look cons 1) inferior quality food 2) none of staff wears mask 3) untidy toilets 4) cold and old food i went hear along with family with lot of expectations, but nothing was fulfilled .. dosa having bitter taste prepared in poor quality oil.. chutney has no taste at all.. we can’t call sambar as a curry .. it’s like some old gravy.. overall all items are of poor quality, they are spoiling yummy authentic “ ambalavasi” food goodwill by using pisharody brand.. please ask some one who already had food there recently before you eat there.. i already given same feed back to the manager / owner and he agreed to improve the qualit

normal restaurant with good outlook.
had good sadhya from here.
pulinji and payasam were too superb.
sadhya for 150/- which is a normal rate.
service is also good.
overall, good experience.

very close to swaraj round, this place has decent place for car parking. it was an old house which is converted into a hotel now. you will be amazed to see the decor they maintained on the corridor.
a thulasi pot welcomes you to the place.

coming to food, have tried kappa masala which is dosa with tapioca masala instead of regular aloo filled inside. i didn't expect kappa turned into masala so tastily. also tried gobi masala which is more like a chinese flavor.
the main noticeable difference is that their dosa is crispy throughout but not burnt anywhere.

i recommend this place to try different varieties of dosas at an ancient home

if you are craving for a typical banana leaf sadya in thrisoor ,look no further this is the place !!

a typical vintage house that is being converted to restaurant,they have plenty of seats to accommodate large groups

had sadya on 2 occasions during my recent visit and i had to say the dishes were truly outstanding ..the puli inji ,kottu curry,pineapple curry ,avial and the pal ada payasam was mesmerizing.was so immersed in the sadya that i forgot to take pictures.but on my list whenever i am visiting thrisoor.

if you want only dosa's then pisharody's is a good choice. they have ample parking and real quick service. they have a variety of dosas. i hope they expand the choice of food there. the front elevation of the restaurant is really nice but inside decor is very ordinary.

best place for typical kerala sadhya.
pappadum and banana chips were so good.
had two glasses of payassum.
amazing service by the people there who were too sweet.
they have different rooms and a cradle for family with babies.
had googled a lot for a typical kerala meal and found this place.

sambhar was too good.
and paysam was also good

the best sadya in thrissur. this is in fact better than my earlier favourite place - bharath. good home cooked delicious south indian meal served on banana leaf. must visit if in thrissur.

pisharody's is the one and only hotel in thrissur town which serves a full sadhya for lunch, that too with a typical ‘palada payasam’. adding more colour’s to thrissur’s cultural appeal. .

the best place in thrissur to have sadhya or leaf south indian melas. they serve south indian meals everyday and it is just perfect. if you go their in the afternoon you can try the melas, but in the morning and at night only dosa's are available. if you are in thrissur and want to eat a traditional sadhya then this is the place to go.
don't forget to try their payasam(kheer), the payasam is just perfect.

lot of parking area in a cozy place near vadakkunnatha temple

they serve good vegetarian food

and is pocket friendly

we feel like we ate at a heritage resort

the place is a bit overrated, serves traditional sadhya. in fact we even tried out their catering sadhya for a family event and the committed number of dishes was not served. food was just average. the interiors of the restaurant is done well.
