it's my second visit here, and this time, after i stumbled on pim three years ago by sheer luck, i came on purpose; and again, i was immediately absorbed by the open air space, the hospitality and the food.
the meat platter, all beef in a muslim country, gives me regrets that we can't get such quality products in jakarta.
i am posting a picture of the table as food for the body and food for the mind. special thanks to wilma for lending me the superb *sapiens* to enlighten my trip.
as for pim karakoy, my only criticism is about their coffee, which should be nicer made in a place of such good standards.
in a nutshell,
the ambience is great
the food is superb
the service is attentive and friendly
the manager, samet is super effective and attentive (not that you really need his input as the staf is great, but sometimes, english can be a barrier. i wish i could speak turkish)
a wonderful afternoon spent on my own but never alone at a nice table reflecting about life, the universe and everything.
