you go here for two reasons, decent pizza and then games for the kids. they hit the mark the mark. we got there early and hostess said sit where you want, so we picked a large table on the side. there was talk if going upstairs to the crows nest for the kids but we didn't do it. ordered three large pizzas, extra cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. they came pretty quickly. thin crust was crispy. sauce was tangy and good but pretty standard. toppings were fine but there were pools of grease on the plates. if that bothers you don't try this place. salad bar is minimal but ok for those skipping the pizza. games were decent and the young ones loved them. you don't get any tokens with food purchase and have to buy them at .25 per token. mini golf is indoors and blacklit wife and i may stop for drink and a round one night.

you're going here for one reason. it's because you have kids. okay, maybe it's because you're friends with people with kids. at least that was the situation with us at the time. pietro's is made to be a child-distraction engine, and i'm sure that if they could somehow harness the energy of children stuffed with pizza, partying like pirates, and playing video games this restaurant would be able to power the entire city of beaverton handily. this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but much like another major pizza chain, there's a definite market that's being catered to here. be warned.

on the other hand, the pizza here is decent enough, unlike some other major child-resort-pizza chain, such that you don't get indigestion just for taking your kids to a restaurant like this. it may not be the best, but it's far better than a lot of options out there. it's fairly standard pizza fare toppings-wise. if you want something unusual, best look for something else.

so grab the kids or friends with kids and visit. it's alright.

very disappointed, i really hope they fix things.. pizza at pietros is a bit on the pricey side but always worthwhile in the past. tried this new location and we were very underwhelmed. i hope it was just opening jitters. the usual amazing thin crust was lackluster at best with little flavor or crispiness, the toppings and sauce were nothing to get excited over either. i can only assume they are using a different supplier at this location or it was just a really bad day. pizza is not the same as the milwaukie store either in that it had mounds of cheese on top of the toppings, which made the whole thing oily and nasty. plus at this location you have to wait for a table. with over 2 dozen empty tables throughout the restaurant with no reserved signs we were hard pressed to see why they do it differently at this location, the girls working the doors could not give us one. we had to wait for 25 minutes to get the table then another half hour to get the pizza as we were told not to pre order. at the original location, as well as salem and hood river, you order, find a table and they bring it to you in short order, and it is delicious.

excellent. the pizza was delicious, a little spendy but worth it. we ordered a taco and pepperoni. then we played laser tag and even though
the age range was between young and middle age we all felt like little kids playing. what a blast.
