rude staff vs good food, is it worth it?. i like middle eastern food and products, and this place was close to my apartment, so that's why i came here from time to time for shawarma sandwiches, pita bread, eggplant spreads and so on, until today. after trying to buy a packet of pita bread, less than 5 dollars, i was given the finger. literally. i felt like i committed a crime by passing my debit card. i didn't know you had to be aware that those places pay 50 cents for each transaction. i could easily buy something else but was treated so badly that took the first things on my way to add up to the transaction. after telling the guy how rude he was, he replied with the f... word. is it worth it? na... austin has much more options. if you are still ready to be treated badly, then go ahead. you might think that i replied badly too, but i didn't. i hope their god (the one they always pray) bless their business. i'll stay buying my products at sarah's grill a couple of blocks north where people are really nice... extra nice
