philly style steaks & subs

it ain't "authentic" philly style but it's damn good. strip mall joint churning out freshly cooked steak, cheese, mushrooms, fried onion (and permutations thereof) sandwiches that are hot, delicious and very affordable. just eaten one and i could turn around and go get another, they're that good.

cheesesteak. these are the best cheesesteaks anywhere. i drive 600 miles to va. beach from atlanta to get these subs. they are the best.

this ain't no cheesesteak!. you call this a cheesesteak? really? **** no!

what you have here is a sub shop serving a 'meat sandwich' and calling it a cheesesteak. i seriously doubt that anyone who has given this place a thumbs up review has never been to philly and had a real cheesesteak. if you have, something is wrong with your taste buds my friends. this is not it.

a traditional philly cheesesteak is made with the following.

thin sliced rib-eye or top round with the onions fried in with the meat.
cheese whiz or provolone
amoroso or vilotti-pisanelli rolls.

what you have here is some kind of low grade meat that doesn't meet taco bell's criteria. kraft american slices and standard roll. unh uh. that's not a cheesesteak.

in addition service here is spotty, and they're a cash only establishment. save yourself some time and money. if you want a decent cheesesteak go over to fat philly's on azalea garden / robin hood rd. it's much closer to the real thing.

dude.. i have been eating here for the last 13 years, and would eat here more if my ldls would shut the hell up. if you like it spicy add the hot peppers, but i must warn you - you will pay for it in the morning!

awesome steak sandwiches. had not been to this restaurant in 21 years and the subs still taste the same. truly missed it!!!

the best philly style steak sub i've ever had. they're awsome. never been to philly though.

good. great place to get a great philly cheese steak!
