pepe's piri piri

rip off!!! small portions for extortionate prices you would think they will serving michelin food or gourmet, far from it. the food is average. get better value for you money, go elsewhere. struggling to get over 5 measly onion rings for £2 and a tiny burger burger to ‘compliment’ it. what a joke!!!!!

this place is terrible the food is ok but ridiculously over priced. some of the staff are rude and the managers even worse his arrogant and has no respect. they forgot my fries and bbq sizzler and when i went back the manager asks me to show him a reciept with the order number on it, the same reciept that he took off me when collecting my food from the counter and tried blaming another member of staff for giving me the food in the bag without everything in it when infact he was the one who handed it over to me. when i stepped in and told him that he gave me the bag he just laughfed and went over to the till acting all busy but yet still no sign of an appology or my fries or my sizzler. when i asked how long for the rest of my food the arrogant man says 'patients brother it takes time for food to cook' so please stay away from here unless you want to be disrespected

i had gone with my friend to pepes, one evening we had sat at booth number one, which is right at the front by the tills.

the food we had ordered had came very quick, but there was this strange cold breeze above us that seemed to make my family feel the chills as we asked the waiter they couldn't do nothing about it as we had started eating we now could not move and had to soldier on, nevertheless the food was amazing! i would recommend getting the waffle and ice cream dessert! it was delicious and looked just as delicious, everyone who walked past just wished they had some

we had actually given this a nick name - 'rich man's kfc'! lol
jokes apart, the pepe classic and pepe's wings are a class apart and not the usual run-of-the-mill stuff. they pieces are grilled for a considerable time (sometimes, we were super hungry by the time the food actually arrived!).
the burgers are also very well made and they actually put in a lot of effort on individual orders - thats why they can take some time to bring your food to your plate!

i've ate from pepe's many times as it is onky around the corner from my house and the food is really good especially the xl burger meal would recommend to everyone!

ok cant fault it but rice is bland and chicken is okay. better peri peri around for the price.

we went to alum rock pepe's after watching too much advertisement on tv. it is located on the nice quiet place and food was just alright. we ordered 2x pepe's chicken box and later we have been told it is the price of chicken and rice only it does not come as a meal so had to pay £1.50 extra each. we also ordered burrito wrap and piri piri corn on the cob but didn't like the taste of anything we ordered. .

in my opinion pepe's piri piri is expensive then other restaurants and even if you pay £6 per head it won't fill you up.

copy off dixy but not as good as dixy... and expensive for just a fast food place on alum rock road...
