coffee (dish review). strangely, until a few days ago, i had not tried a drop of peet's coffee. i had savored drinks and pastries from the roaster, but not what they specialized in. i must say, i am not impressed. a few sips of almost in-palatable coffee later, i realized that i should stick to the frappuccinos. i am sorry, but with two creams and two sugars, no coffee should be as bitter as what i got from peet's.

peet's (coffee). peet's, located in downtown willow glen, is a very popular coffee stop. the drinks are good and prices are fair, but parking can be difficult. crowds can be high, but waits shouldn't be too long. sitting on the patio outdoors can be nice if the weather's good. this is a definite option for a coffee when you need a good one, but maybe it's not as good as a starbucks.
