payard las vegas. visited payard on mother's day, was very disappointed. we made reservation and had to wait for 40 minutes to get in while they allowed their walk-ins to fill up all tables. you should keep a table open when you accept a reservation. then, that was not bad enough, when we sat down you think that it would be nice if they acknowledge and apollogize and provide, as a good gesture, a couple pastries or a basket of bread. very questionable management. we have complained through email before, but never received any response. the food was so, so. it used to be better but now it is hit and miss. the new york payard was closed last wed, may 2009, for health reasons. i wonder if this is connected to money flow.

wonderful. had breakfast here with my daughter and son in law. it was great. good fast service considering one chef makes everything. i had the spinach swiss cheese quiche. it was one of best quiches i have ever had. my daughter tried the eggs benedict. they were served over croissants so very different and tasty. son in law had red velvet and bacon waffles which he loved. i would recommend this place to everyone.

the display of cakes and pastries looks divine so naturally we thought we would sit in the quaint little cafe for some brunch. we ordered the classic croque monsieur and avocado toast. you wouldn't think avocado toast would be difficult to get wrong, however payard proved us wrong! the thinest slice of toast, coupled with mushy brown tomato and cold egg. potentially the worst avo on toast we have ever had! the croque monsieur looked better, and tasted ok. a tad too much cheese, but was better than the toast. the pricing did not match the food that was delivered. extremely disappointed. surprised by the high reviews as i definitely would not return!

stopped by for lunch.

my most favorite part was bread - freshly baked, crusty - if you like bread, this is literally a heaven.

soup of the day was italian tuscan sausage - very tasty, good seasoning ( you must love oregano to enjoy this soup).

kale salad was excellent, kale was of an excellent quality, just leaves, no stems, good flavor combination. my only gripe is that the sauce was too liquids (didn't stick to the leaves) and incredibly sweet. i know kale likes touch of sweetness, but this was way out sweet - may be ask for the sauce to be on the side, or maybe an extra lemon?

very good and friendly service.

recommended.

located inside caesar's palace, this place is chocolate heaven!  we dropped in on our last day for a last minute chocolate dessert and it did not disappoint.  our cake was decadent with many layers of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache - it was to die for!

payard pâtisserie & bistro is located inside caesars palace, right across from bacchanal buffet. french pastry master and chef françois payard is behind all of the treats and confections. the small shop offers everything from pastries, drinks, ice creams, and sandwiches. known for their chocolates and candies as well, the patisserie satisfies everyone’s needs, especially with the bistro next door. this would be a great place to have breakfast or brunch if you don’t want to wait in that line for bacchanal. we just got the almond croissant. it was sweet, flakey, and had a sweet filling inside. the almonds on the outside were toasted perfectly and the crunch from this thing was unbelievable. im sure i had powdered sugar all over and bits of almonds stuck to my face. this was perfect to hold me over until late lunch. payard pâtisserie & bistro is a nice spot to just relax and have whatever you feel like. you can have a pastry and coffee. you can have eggs and toast or a sandwich, or you ma

not only is this a chocolate shop, it is also a bistro with a dining area with savory snacks. we’ve only been here 3 times and never really noticed the restaurant portion because we are usually huddling around the chocolate clock.
