distinct taste, filling food. after a few visits, pasteur's pho is really good. not only is it filling, but it seems to have a flavor that gives it a distinction to other pho restaurants. the pho is loaded with whatever you ordered in it whether it be meatballs, steak, or brisket. the steak tastes excellent. the bowls of soup come with the usual toppings of bean sprouts, herbs, and lime. their vietnamese sandwiches are also a delicious treat and unique to many palette's in the u.s. who have maybe never tried this type of sandwich. pasteur's even warms up to soft, yet crispy bread. the center ingredients are very fresh tasting and overall make a very pleasureful experience.
prices are average to other pho restaurants, if not slightly higher to about mid $7's for a small (big portioned bowl) or nearing $9 for a large bowl. prices can be steep, but you get what you pay for. vietnamese sandwiches are a good value on their menu.
the staff seem to be friendly and the interior is nicely pieced together giving it an almost upscale feel, despite it's location in a south everett strip mall. if you happen to be in the area and want to be warmed up on a cool northwest day, pho from this restaurant will warm you up.
