adequate food, poor service. i had chicken saltimbocca: meat was chewy and pasta undercooked. wife had seafood pasta primavera which she said was good. the order of garlic bread was good. our first waitress didn't place our order before she left for the night, so 25 minutes later a different waitress took our order again; good service from her. manager apologized. overall, mixed experience.

our first time here and the food was great - they serve warm fresh bread with an amazing tamponade type of dipping sauce which was so good we asked for more! the servings are large so come hungry -unless you are a big eater you won't need an appetizer or could share 1 with another person. service was great - the only downside was the mixed drink - wasn't quite made correctly but we didn't ask them to remake it - that said, we will be back
they also offer their dinner menu for take out at lunch prices! definately go check it out -

the special, chicken parm, was very bland and had too much cheese. everything else i ate was mediocre.

locals hidaway. been driving by what looked liked a tiny cafe for years until we decided to "just do it"
we booked through open table.com and got exactly what we wanted. service was excellent and the restaurant is bigger than it appears.
the house salad was wonderful with a pleasantly unique dressing (either a dash of ginger or allspice added). i enjoyed the butternut ravioli and my husband had the paella..
the ravioli was perfect, my husband liked the paella. he had to bring some home too.
we shared a decadent creme brulé to finish. we will return to this secret spot!

when traveling for work i always try to find something local. primavera is a nice little neighborhood joint. food was good, the service was great an prices are reasonable (most entrees are 12 to 20). if i'm in walnut creek again i'll be back.

i stumbled upon this place while looking for dinner on a business trip. it's cozy, tasty and reasonable. two thumbs up for the bread and dip they bring.
