excellent. i have been eating in/ordering takeout for 25 years+ from panda garden, formerly formosa. there is none better. come to berclair and see how it is properly done. you will not regret the trip.

neighborhood staple. what can i cay? everyone else seems to have covered it. it's a staple in the berclair area and has been there for years, formerly as formosa, but the food has always been the same. it's spoiled pretty much all other chinese places for me, if you go there will see what i mean. the fried rice is spectacular, whether you just get egg fried rice or something meaty; it will be delicious. general tso's, sesame, sweet and sour are all good ways to get your chicken. if all that isn't enough; they have fried wanton, which many places in memphis don't seem to have, and they are very good(the wanton soup is also really good).

great sushi. all those here are very personable. regardless of whether you're looking for take-out or a sit-down dinner, you'll be served with smiles, courtesy, and excellent food. our daughter-in-law is a sushi person, has eaten sushi all over the world, and rates the panda garden as "excellent." our daughter drives from reading, pa, to eat here. go for the food, and you'll go back again for the food!

best restuarant i have ever been to. this is possibly the best restuarant i have ever been to, period. the food is delicious, and it doesn't take more than 10 minutes from the time you order it to when it gets to your table. not to mention the servers are incredibly polite and stay on top of keeping your drink filled. it is also very clean. i will go out of my way to come here again.

the food and service have been outstanding in the 20 plus years we have patronized them beginning as formosa and continuing those traditions by the new owners. recommend heartily!!!!

great place to eat. i really enjoy eating at panda garden! the food is freshly cooked and delicious, and the service is exceptionally friendly. my favorite dish, the honey chicken, is not on the printed menu. this is fabulous with white rice, not the fried. if you are looking for quantity, panda garden will not let you down, especially at lunch. the lunch dishes include a small piece of chicken, a donut, soup, and an egg roll. of course, this is in addition to your entree. the atmosphere at panda garden is also great. small, intimate, great place for dinner with a friend or a date.

i usually order the da chen chicken- a nice spicy chicken dish with a rich brown sauce and chunks of veggies. then again i love the lo main a chinese noodle dish with a nice sauce-yummy. i also enjoy the szechuan beef ( it is a dinner item and comes with a fancy cut carrot.) it is very good. the sesame chicken is thin strips of fried chicken plain but tasty. and the sweet and sour chicken

hands down the best chinese place in memphis. i was so impressed with how light and flakey the crab rangoon was. i also love how the sweet and sour chicken came with the sauce in a large container and the chicken in a separate container to keep it from getting soggy! the ladies that worked this evening were very nice to us and it was a very cute little restaurant inside. again, best chinese i've had in memphis! we won't go anywhere else again.

the very best. you will never eat at any other chinese restaurant!! their food has to have crack or something in it. im hooked and crave pg atleast twice a week.

the food at panda garden was disgusting!!! i've never experienced chinese food like this before... it was under seasoned and over cooked. the house fried rice had no taste to it. i was extremely unsatisfied with the food, i spent over 55.00 on a family meal and my kids didn't want to eat it. i will never order food from there again.

i have been meaning to leave a review for this fabulous place! everything is great here! the best chinese food in memphis. my personal fave is the sweet and sour chicken. when i say that they have the freshest ingredients, i am telling the truth! the onions, green peppers, and pineapples in this dish ate sooo good and even after reheating the food, my onions n green peppers still crunch! love this place! only slight downside is that sometimes i get stale fortune cookies :( but i give them a pass since they aren't actually made there lol.

i am originally from hawaii and am part hawaiian and asian. i have lived across the pacific rim. had panda garden been in hawaii, there would be a long line of hungry customers around the block waiting to eat here. as it is now, panda garden is a best kept secret in the middle of memphis with few customers.

the food at this quiet, little chinese restaurant in the middle of memphis tennessee is such a pleasant surprise. the vegetables are crisp and fresh. the rolls and dumplings are freshly made with the freshest ingredients. unlike typical chinese american restaurants, the food is not overly greasy, salty, burnt or smothered in bottled sauces. the cuisine tastes more healthy and homemade like my chinese grandmother bo lin made back in hawaii.

the prices here are very affordable while the decor is crisp, clean and professional. clean, crisp linen napkins and quality service ware is used rather than typical cheap plastic plates found at most chinese fast food restaurants and buffets.

thus, if you are looking for healthy, tasty, fresh, authentic chinese food, panda garden is definitely one of best places in the world--except for my grandmother bo lin's kitchen!

yum!. this is my favorite chinese restaurant in memphis, and the owners and staff are so nice! they are friendly and accomodating and the food is awesome. no msg and we just got it to go tonight and they don't use styrophome to-go containers, which is great. i've been to this traditional chinese place with large groups, and only heard rave reviews from everyone.

this is simply some of the best chinese food i have had in memphis. the sweet and sour & egg drop are great. mongolian beef is outstanding. i have not had a bad or even remotely close to being bad item on the menu. you have got to try this place. i am sure it will be one of your favs as well.

i've eaten in this restaurant a few times. it was very good both times, but i dont remember what i ordered. my fave takeout chinese place on summer (taste of china) seems to have new owners, and i've been not so thrilled with their food or service as of late. so when i was craving chinese takeout this friday i decided to try panda garden's take-out. i read the reviews and ordered the sesame chicken, crab wontons and hot & sour soup. the fried goodness did not disappoint. it was finger-lickin good. the crab wontons are like food crack. i could have ordered healthier, but i wanted to try the things the rest of you guys have been raving about on here. oh, and no msg in the food was a nice plus. i like how the sesame seeds are fried into the breading. they're hard to see, but they're definitely there and extra tasty.
