zarzamora location. my husband and i have been a long time custumers at the one located at mc cullen, but for the first time
today we went to the one at zarzamora. it was very disappointing to see the obvios difference between the two locations: the lack of quality , very poorly aspect of the premises, the air conditioner was very cold, no waitress, the food and coffee, not good...

old standby. we have been coming here for several years. the dine in can be chaotic as it is always busy, and it is counter service. so it is best to go with someone and have them hold a table while you order. the food is always fresh and tasty. the breakfast menu is extended all day on the weekends. we always get a variety of tacos and/ or caldo.

panchitos with flavor here. if you are going to visit a panchitos, this is the place. the tortillas, both corn and flour, are well made and flavorful. the carne guisada is heavenly and the beans and rice are well made. all in all the food is very good here. the decor is basic but you should ignore the decor for the great food. friendly waitstaff as well. i visited this place after having visited the tonier and less tasty cousin in olmos park.

caldo please!. my wife loves the caldo de res, it`s good. not like mom`s but it gets by.
