this is a great little "neapolitan" pizzeria with a cool atmosphere and an owner that cares about how the clientele views his restaurant. the menu is limited which i view as a huge plus ... not a jack of all, but specializes in what they do best. staff is great as is the wine selection. i highly recommend this spot.

enjoyed antipasto. had thin crust margherita pizza. bland but benign flavor. not crisp, floppy. wet texture. crust is eatable and the only part that had texture. pizza was not hot, for being fresh made.

what do you do when you find yourself in an unknown far away kingdom like, say, silver spring, and you need a place to eat in a hurry? you could always go with the safe (if unexciting) bets of potbelly or chipotle , or put your fate in the hands of the legion of online reviewers on sites like yelp or urbanspoon . we generally choose the latter option, but this is the sort of situation where my uncanny ability to recall restaurants that i've read about comes in handy. i can't do math, i sometimes forget to pack all of my clothes in my gym bag, but if you need to know the name of that restaurant that tom sietsema recommended in elkridge, maryland, i'm your gal. b is partly amused by it and partly freaked out. we'll be driving through random towns and he'll ask where we should eat and i'll blurt out the name of some place that i read about in some blog or newspaper 4 years ago. this rambling back story is provided to convey how we ended up eating at pacci's neapolitan pizzeria in silver s

good not great. i ate here recently with a few others. we all ordered different pizzas. the consensus was that the flavor was good but...although the dough was flaky at the crust, the middle was mushy. my idea of a great pizza is one where the whole thin crust is on the crispy side. in addition, the arugula and prosciutto were just heaped whole on the top. it would have been much better and less awkward to eat if they had been cut/torn into small pieces. the wait was pretty long, but the prices were fair and the patio a lovely place to eat on a warm night. i would not go out of my way to eat here, but it is worth a visit if you are close by.

amazing all around!. great atmosphere, traditional neapolitan style pies with fresh ingredients, great wine list and desserts! the new patio outside is so inviting and perfect for dining al fresco. great for first dates or families :)

5-10 minutes? don't believe the hype!. i came to this restaurant with my wife and two kids on a saturday evening at 6 pm. we were told the wait would only be "5-10" minutes". after about 15 minutes, i asked how long it would be and was again told "5-10 minutes". i have been a waiter in the past and could see (as there are only 3-4 tables that seat more than 2 people) that no one had ordered their food yet and that it was going to be a lot longer than 5-10 minutes. nevertheless, i decided to wait and see if something opened up. after approximately 35 minutes we left without eating (and they charged us for the 2 beers we had while we were waiting). i will not be back, poor from waiting and management. try mia's or two amy's- great pizza and at least when there is a wait they will let you know
