ostro eatery is a lovely cafe with friendly staff. the pulled pork burger with slaw and chips was ok - pulled pork was quite dry and the chips was a little oily and dry. beef burger was delicious though. overall decent prices for the massive servings.

small portions for their prices!!friendly staff,nice and fast service, happy environment. watch for the credit card surcharge at checkout as they won't notice!!

the food here is great, very fresh and tasty.

the service is somewhat rude. i saw one of the staff members chastise a customer in such a rude way because he wanted sauce on the side of his food, not on top of it.

i was sitting at the table next to the young chap who was being very polite, but the response from the lady was so arrogant and uncalled for.

i told another waitress and she told me the rude waitress was actually the owner and she was like that with staff as well.

again, the food is fantastic, but if your the lady owner reading this.....look after your staff and customers

ok so i'm here for breakfast and i already have the biggest crush on this place. the staff are amazing, located on the foreshore, the food on par and morning cocktails. in turn it is loud and buzzing with locals young and old. there must be something on the coffee 😉

a small modern cafe not quite standout from the entrance. as the nearby cafes were quite old fashioned i spotted their interior is a bit modern and stylish. i was impressed by their service. we were looking for lunch at around 11:30am but the waiter just inform us we could sit down, maybe for a drink and wait for the lunch start. that's fine and she bought us a bottle of water straight away ! once they wrote the daily specials on the board we can't wait to order two of the specials. we had the thai beef salad and morocco chicken burger. both are excellent ! favour-wise just right balanced. the portion is bit large than usual but we just finished them all ! the coffee are great too. will certain come back if we are in town again.

this is the only place to eat on the foreshore strip in rockingham if you like good food.

this cafe is something special. you can tell that this business prides itself on quality. the food and the menu are nothing like you expect at generic cafes. the savory mince and the blue swimmer crab omelette, fresh made ginger bread and the fresh local muscles special were incredible. i've travelled from perth for meals here often. well worth a visit! also the fact that they make their own sweets and desserts daily is refreshing because no matter where you go it's the same options you get everywhere these days.

really nice food had great service and the location is excellent. always lives up to expectations and we will definitely be back again. staff really friendly and the ambiance is lovely and bright. excellent

beautiful food, with enough choice but not too much that it confuses customers and a great range of drinks. the service is perfect and all the staff are really lovely, will be going back again for sure

first time at ostro for breakfast without a doubt the best breakfast in rockingham will definitely go back to try the lunch and dinner menu

food was all round awesome, great sizes & prices (recommend the seafood pasta and the steak! staff were very friendly and quick! not to mention it is a very cool little set up fell like i am dining somewhere in perth or a lil indi joint! we loved it....

dropped in for an early dinner with my honey and were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. great selection of delicious eats and beverages. perfect spot to watch the day end and enjoy a great meal. will definitely be trying the cocktails next time.

finally rockingham has a cafe to rave about! this place is not like any other cafe in the area... it's modern, cool, simple, clean, kind-of industrial, and the food was amazing!! i stopped by ostro to get a takeaway coffee the other day and have been dying to come back for breakfast, so this morning my friends and i put our diets aside and decided to meet up for breakfast. we were a bit indecisive and the waiter was happy to offer recommendations... so we ended up all going with the waffles (which we saw on the board but not on the menu)... they came with caramelised banana, ice cream and mango... they were so good! we all loved them! the texture, taste and presentation were spot on... i hope they are there next time! the coffee was perfect and the staff were very friendly. i'm so glad there is such a cool cafe close to home. i'm looking forward to going back!
