was surprised. better than expected. had the lamb. wow.

a great surprise!. omar's is a great reason never to judge a book by its cover. inside and out it looks a bit run down. however, the food is amazing. every dish i sample was truly a pleasure and i will certainly return to try more from their long list of options.

was excited to go after good reviews. ended up getting greeted by a rude server who was mad she had to clear a table for us and then no one ever came to greet us or get drink orders so we left. waited around 10 minutes. very disappointed.

bad service. the food at omars is excellent. everthing i have had has been well prepared as well as reasonably priced. sometimes the service was great and other times not. until one time they had a banner up, as well as a flyer in the mail, advertising buffet starting at 10:00 a.m. i went in and was told not untill 11:00 using exactly those words in a dismissive tone. when i explained about the sign she repeated not untill 11:00. no apology no explaination. i sent them two e-mails about this and got no response. this was some time ago and things may have improved but i will never go back. no matter how good the food is. when i patronize an establishment i expect to be treated with dignity and respect. not as if i don't matter.

omar's was great!. as someone else said the place doesn't look like much, as a matter of fact we thought it wasn't even open by the looks of it when we got there. the service was prompt and very friendly, we ordered falafel as an appetizer, two combo dinners and one shawarma and was so surprised at the quantity and quality of meat on each. the whole meal was very tasty.

i'd have to say our round trip of 80 miles was well worth making for it all and was nice to meet omar at the end of our meal.

wow. no delivery unless you spend $15 or more. dam i really wanted gyro

i was just dying for a gyro and don't know where to get a good one. i appreciate momo's interpretation but i wanted the real deal. omar's delivers in spades. hot fresh and genuine. i cant say ekugh about it other than ill be back.thanks for the great experience.

great treasure!!. called made reservations for 19. in town for convention went for dinner baba ghanouj was wonderful and so was the koftka kabobs. so much flavor!! everyone in our party lpved the food. will definately be back when passing through or in town. great treasure!#

great little cafe. i tried omar's for the first time recently, and i really like that it's so close to the airport. the dining room is small and intimate. the service is friendly and attentive. there's a nice selection of traditional greek and mediteranean dishes. i chose the combination platter which came with a salad and small dish of humus and pita. the salad was a bit of a disappointment---lettuce was room temp, not crispy and cold; the dressing was slightly sweet and mostly bland, not the sort of traditional greek or cesear type dressing i was expecting, but otherwise it was pretty good with some toasted pita and grated cheese on top. the humus and pita was very good. the combo platter with beef, chicken and lamb and sliced peppers was delicious! i would definitely go back, but i might skip the salad.

wasn't good...inedible pizza. we've been to omar's a couple times. the first few times i enjoyed the food. we went a few months ago and got pizza and wings. the wings were terrible. they were dry/cooked to death and were just totally unappetizing. recently (10/19/12) we picked up some food after work. we ordered the chicken shawarma pizza and a gyro. as we were getting in the car we both remarked on how strong the garlic smell was (we both love garlic). when we got home we each grabbed a piece. i noticed mine had a pretty good amount of garlic on it. my bf only ate half his piece and i asked why and he said the garlic was so strong it was burning his mouth. i didn't believe him so i took a bite of his piece where he said it was very garlic-y....it made my mouth hurt. it was so strong and acid. ewww. i would have taken it back if we lived closer and we hadn't been at work all day and just wanted to be done with the day. i tried to eat another piece the next day for lunch and as soon as i bit the tip it was an instant, nasty garlic taste in my mouth.total waste of money since we got a large pizza expecting to be able to eat the leftovers for lunch over the next few days and money is tight so this was supposed to be a treat. never again.

omars is cheap and very yummy. if you're looking for great food and want to try something new omar's is the place. omar's is a small family owned restaurant with reasonable prices and great servers to make your dining experience amazing! delivery & to gos are always available. the pizzas are cooked in a brick oven which give it that taste you cant get just anywhere. the owner enjoys meeting all his customers and really getting to know them. try something new for a change and go to omar's. omars is also on facebook visit the page for more up to date information, pictures, updates, & an up to date menu.

the food was very good i had lazana and has a very sweet sauce that was good. a very clean place and the homemade rolls are wonderful they are friendly but takes a bit of time to get food as it is prepared fresh. the service was not exceptional but the one waitress worked every minute of the time never took a break and was just plain busy waiting on the people's doing it as fast as she could she was very friendly and helpful but needed more help not her fault i will definitely return
