so many memories. this place makes the best milkshakes. used to come here every time my dad needed to renew his license. we'd always get a cheeseburger and a vanilla milkshake. still as good as i remember. sad that so many of these types of places are going belly up in favor of chains or wank-fest 'foodie' places that put ceremony over substance. it's good food, cheap and easy.

so i had the slinger .... where ever you are get in your car, drive to this place and have one. it was a religious experience.

my cup of coffee was never empty! the atmosphere was friendly and i felt like family the second i walked in the door. fun music in the background, hussle and bussle of customers coming and going, never felt stressful, so many great things to say about this diner. oh yea, did i mention the food was amazing?:)

this is by far the best diner in all of st. louis. must go! cheap food that tastes amazing! great people and atmosphere. if you haven't been here, you have to go now!

this place has really started to grow on me. i had been to olivette diner once about 3 years ago, it was a nice experience but i didn't think much about it, felt like it was just another diner with good breakfast food and there was plenty more to try so i forgot about it for a while.
these past few weeks, i ended up stopping by several times with my toddler, mostly for convenience and fast service and realized how much i enjoy the yummy food, customized and friendly service for my son and watching regulars come and go. obviously we'll be going back :-)

olivette diner. perfectly mediocre cheap diner food. service was not overly attentive, but our party didn't have to wait long for food.

we've been going here since my daughter was about 5 yo. the people are like family and the food is wonderful. now whenever my daughter comes home from colorado our first stop is the olivette diner.

this place is awesome. i've been coming in for 20 years, and the quality has always been consistently delicious. get the chili cheese fries, you won't regret it.

delicious. the service was good and quick, the bacon was perfectly crispy, and the malted waffle- excellent! i'd go back just for the waffle!

stopped in for early breakfast on my way to my appt. wasn't very crowded, i had my to go order within 5 min. bacon was crispy, egg cooked thorough. it was just how i liked it.

solid diner. this is a gold, solid diner where you can get a good reuben, a good burger, a good bowl of chicken soup. and the keep the coffee coming!

great food fair price. had breakfast saturday morning 3/1/14 and was spledidly surprised at the execution of the food. eggs o/e were done to perfection.

love the fact that this diner has a very small town feel. the people were great the price was even better. however, cinnamon rolls need some work. :) my lunch plate was good though. would totally recommend and come back again.

wow. the first bite was intense. it’s sweet and extremely decadent. if you can resist the urge to tear through it quickly, let that ice cream melt some. i must say it was big enough that i almost couldn’t finish it…almost :)
