we had a very pleasant lunch yesterday. the food is nothing fancy, but great value for money. we sat on the terrace and there was a good vibe, nice music playing, and very good service. simple lunch at a very reasonable price. r550 for 3 meals and a bottle of wine.

i was very keen to go here for my anniversary after going to the one in pietermaritzburg, but i was a bit disappointed. my café latté was cold and tasted as if i was drinking warm milk. service was pretty good and the meal was delicious... i had the marakesh pizza and enjoyed it thoroughly. desserts are really not a specialty of theirs and i'm certain i would have enjoyed something anywhere else. i had a pancake with the ice cream and chocolate sauce and it really wasn't very tasty.. all in all, i would probably go there again for a meal but definitely not dessert or a café latté

incredible food. the food and restaurant is clean and absolutely delicious. their butternut gnocchi is incredible, i’ll definitely have that again.

my boyfriend took me here on my birthday. it's a really nice/classy place. our waiter was really nice and our food was ready in a couple of minutes. the food was alright, nothing special.

we stayed in durban for the weekend and wandered up to olive & oil on recommendation from our bnb owner. what a wonderful surprise! the food was amazing and so was the service. well priced, outstanding value! the prawn pasta dish was out of this world!

a good night out - very cozy setting. really enjoyed the spread of g&ts on their menu. all of them were great. i enjoyed the prawns - nothing to complain about really. service was good.

great setting. this was a random dinner try. experienced terrible service. tried the pizza and the waiter insisted it was for one person only. that was not even a kids pizza. once received we knew it could be shared. also an unnecessary fee is charged for sharing. will definitely not visit this place again.

well considering it was me and my then fiancé’s and now wife 😃 1st time in durban i’m glad we stumbled across this gem of of a place.

the service from the staff was pretty great from the moment we walked in through the doors we were greeted with a warm smile and cheerful hello

the meal and wine selection was pretty good and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals that were prepared another thumbs 👍🏾

will be back in durban soon and will most definitely be making another turn at o&o.

been here three different times and enjoyed every single experience. the ambience is fantastic, the table olives are delicious and you're assured of amazing starters, mains and desserts. the wait staff know the menu well are are extremely accommodating. percy was fantastic. as a family friendly restaurant with delicious food you shall not be disappointed.

we were blessed with our amazing waiter, josh, who was knowledgable, helpful, fun and kind. to be honest, when dining out, your waiter is 70% of the experience or can be if they are good. josh made our 100% good experience with the food and value 100% better than that! so we had a 200% good time! we were given time to order what we want and add to our order. suggest the fishermans platter and smoked ostrich. to end , we had the ice cream with bar one was divine! go, ask for josh, and enjoy the meals!

olive & oil has a good reputation amongst durbanites. the food was good...had some beef medallions with a lovely mushroom sauce. service was mediocre tho...can generally make or break a dining experience.

if i want consistent and excellent italian food, olive & oil (glenwood) is always my go to restaurant.

the service is always top notch and the delivery time on your order is just as quick.

the meals are always the "same" i.e. always on point and never disappointing. it's a restaurant i would recommend in a heartbeat for a great lunch or dinner out.

loved the excellent service and atmosphere. love that you have secure parking. i had the mushrooms stack and it was delicious, although it could have had a bit more halloumi. lovely experience all round.

we arrived at the door and were warmly greated by a member of staff and we're asked to take a seat while our table was getting prepared, this was a short wait and then we were shown to our seats. the restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, there was something very calming about it. the service was very good, the waiters had a very good product knowledge and were friendly and professional. the food was what i expected, very good quality and a good selection on the menu. olive and oil is definitely worth a visit!!
