old school cafe

being a food lover i can this much the food is not up to the mark not good taste not balanced at all. the choice of music and ambience is horrible. service not good and the waiters not trained. not worth the second time.

a very good place for party or hangout . service is also good , staff behaviour is very friendly , frank and decent .
seats are arranged in balcony also , and setup is favourable for all age group .

been here in numerous occasions when i was visiting allahabad. this place is by far the best in this quaint town. the menu comprises of good blend of indian, oriental, continental, thai. and food speaks for itself!
the ambience is cosy, inviting, warm and is perfect even in balmy summer as they have got mists all over the place. another very interesting thing that added brilliance to the ambience was the uv painting across the whole wall.

adorable place. perfect ambience for lunch and dinner dates. classy crowd. staff was really polite and well mannered. now coming to food, i ordered indian cuisine, which was fairly cooked and taste was indeed authentic. i really enjoyed being there. must visit!

the moment i stepped in this place it welcomed me with a very cozy-warmth filled decor and even better is their open space beautifully lit by filament lamp shades. they have a good collection of songs and the staff is courteous. the menu has limited options but the quality of food was at par! their mocktails were good and really loved the green apple mojito. ordered continental (garlic chilli noodles/rice) which was decent and the starters comprised of chicken 65, chilly chicken were upto the mark. overall a decent place to visit!

was very excited about this place so visited here couple of days back. ambience is nice but apart from this everything is extremely bad. the food was desasterous and the portion size is also pretty less. after eating didn't felt good. we ordered pizza which was not good, grilled sandwich which was not grilled properly n tasted bad,we also ordered alfredo sauce pasta which was under cooked n portion size was also very less. apart from this there was no music playing in the cafe. all an all tortuous experience. they really need to uplift their standards of they want to do good. one thing is sure that they have lost one foodie (me) who would have loved to visit this place regularly if food would have been good.

at first sight, i was highly impressed with its interior, space and music. ambience is both classy and cozy. but the outer area is better than the inner one. talking about the taste of food, alfredo veg is a must try for all along with mojitos. moreover, this place has an amazing staff who are friendly as well as provide you with quick service!
a must go place for all.

old school cafe came highly recommended from many of my friends and since i was in allahabad, i decided to head there. being a sat eve, i thought it was better to give a call to ensure i had a table. i am really happy that i did that because minutes after i walked in, almost every table was taken - this gave me another assurance about how the place was :). 

great hospitality by the staff and the owners present at the outlet, i saw him attend to every guest to ensure everyone had a good food experience. since i was dining alone, owner accommodated my request for smaller portions for the burnt garlic mushroom soup and garlic bread with cheese. i wanted to try these dishes as it was recommended by multiple friends. 

the food is priced decent and the portions are generous without compromising on the taste and quality. pricing i won’t say is on the lower end however looking at the ambiance - presentation - i guess it’s apt !

just perfect & highly recommended - i didn’t have such a combination elsewhere. had one during my trips to la & that’s what i remember.

fish in lemon butter sauce - this was definitely the star of the evening. the fish was tender on the inside and well sprinkled with herbs and covered with lemon butter sauce. overall delicious. i would definitely order this again whenever i visit them again.

i'm so glad that i finally had a chance to visit this new cafe in my hometown. just doesn't feel like the old city any more. finger licking good food. polite and ever so courteous staff. they take care of what you will personally like. i tried their mixed sauce pasta, chinese - noodles + chilli chicken and chilli paneer. everything was done so perfectly. great interior. looking forward to my next visit super soon.

one of the best place to hangout! sophisticated staff, very hospitable and good ambience. good worth every penny. open terrace space and good mocktails.

went here with my school friends :). the starters were really good but the chinese really disappointed. i think the quest of allahabadi for a great chinese place continues.

we visited here today and yeah the ambiance and service is good but alas the taste of the food was not worthy enough to eat. list of beverages don't even add up to five. they first need to add taste to their food and then items to the menu ✌️✌️

it was my first time in old school.and thanks to mr.rana and his team.they made my date memorable.food is lip smacking.plating style and the cutlerys snd crockerys they use is above the standards.overall ambience is fabulous.staffs are really courteous. first time someone impressed me with their hospitality and the main thing they take care of the guest.
one thing i wanna share .... i feel like they need to make space for one more washroom for the rush hours.

it's a nice place, however, very difficult to locate.

plane is nicely done but the glass used is not going well. ambiance is quite decent. coming back to food
we ordered chicken wings, tandoori chicken, soya chap and one adraki kabab. started very really nice and mouthwatering.

for main course we ordered chilly chicken, black bean chicken and green thai curry.

but the main course was below average.

for desserts we ordered julab jamun with ice cream and brownie with icecream. which was quite normal.

presentation is nice and they have really tried to do it a bit differently as per allahabad.

should give it tray, i would recommend this place.

probably the most spacious cafe in allahabad. the beverages are good. i had cold coffee and it was perfect. the food was a disappointment though. i ordered chilli paneer, bruschetta, mix sauce pasta, butter chicken and bread basket. bruschetta and pasta were okay but the butter chicken and chilli paneer were not up to the mark.there is no other option for ordering indian breads other than the bread basket. they serve assorted breads in the basket which is not acceptable. i had to order it anyway and waste it.
