officers from a local police department showed up to be served and were given old produce on a salad and after an hour had to ask for their order to go.  they then still did not get their order and were treated rudely by the employees.   with only one small group of people in the restaurant, there is no excuse for this.  i will not return to a restaurant who does not support or at least give fair service to our law enforcement.

we ordered two adult and two children's entrees. the kids chicken and mac and cheese were both rated bad by the children. my wife had the chicken parm which she desribed as tasteless and nasty. i had the bbq, cheddar and pepper bacon burger. it was quite a feat to serve something with those ingredients that was completely without flavor. be safe and only order beer if you go to this place.

i have gone to restaurants all over the country and this one by far was the worst. i was there for two hours and the waitress said about four words to us. when it was time for the check she grabbed it and started filling water glasses. when done she just threw the check book back at us and left,no words. no management around. i will never go back. they need serious help there with customer service.

worst restaurant in omaha. terrible service and terrible food.

being a 15 year veteran of the industry, i can honestly say that old chicago is the worst restaurant in omaha.

once, my date and i waited over 15 minutes for a server to even come to our table after we were sat. meanwhile, the manager stood 20 feet away watching tv.

another time i was with a large group and managed to get exactly one drink in the 2.5 hours we were there. the waitress was rude and slow and again, management was nowhere to be found.

i was also once refused service at 12:30 because they "had already called for 'last call' ". what a joke.

thought it would be better. service was okay but steak was over cooked and it was rubbery. not a big fan of this place.

chicago style is just thick crust, not pizza pie. crust is a little bland, but other ingrediants are pretty good.

hit and miss. this place can have its ups and its downs. i have enjoyed the last few times i've been here because i got a calzone and beer. how can i look down upon calzones and beer?

just can't get enough. we just keep coming back here over and over again. the food is fantastic (get the thin crust!), the beer selection is phenomenal, the staff is always great, and the decor reminds me of home. i feel a bit lame taking my visitors from out-of-town to a chain also exists in the area they're visiting from from, but if they're here long enough, we are definitely going to end up at this old chicago. the beer club is great too, and has no time limit, and works across all old chicago locations.

love the beer. old chicago has a wonderful selection of beers, and really that is why you should go. the pizzas and other menu items have not impressed me. most disappointing is the simple fact that, despite the name and all the pictures of chi-town on the wall, the "chicago style" pizza isn't. i don't know if anyone in this city knows how to do true corn meal crust deep dish pizza, but old chicago doesn't.

the "chicago-style" pizza is no thicker than pizza hut pan pizza and twice the price. despite the picture on the menu, it's not even half as thick as the pan.

old chicago omaha. this is a hard combination to beat... pizza and beer! pair these gastronomic heavy-hitters with sports in hd and you have a epicurean juggernaut. the pizza is available in several flavors and crust styles including, of course, chicago style. the beer is offered in as many as 110 different flavors but is only served in one style… cold. how can you go wrong?
