always delicious food. i love grilled cheese and they do a great job with it. the service is normally really good, too. i've been there quite a few times and only had one negative experience.

so so. we decided to try oh my grill at the mt. lebanon plein air art festival. the main reason we came was to try the pgh taco truck and decided since it was a cool, fall evening, why not warm up with a grilled cheese as well. we tried the grilled cheese with chicken breast and the three cheese sandwich. both were a bit pricier than i thought they would be but for a good grilled cheese, we thought it would be worth it. the one with the grilled chicken ended up just being white bread with some cheese and lunch meat chicken-not bad but not what i thought. the three cheese just tasted like white bread with some velveeta on it. the sandwiches were not bad but i just thought they would be a little more "gourmet" for paying $8 per sandwich.

the number one. i had been wanting to try oh my grill since last year during the final home game for the pirates i spotted it packing up because they had sold out of food so i knew it had to be just that good. i was not disappointed. i ordered the number one-smoked gouda, carmelized onions, and bacon with a potato soup dipper. the potato soup dip absolutely made this sandwich! grilled cheese is hard to go wrong with but it was just that much better with the soup dip. i saw a lot of people getting their mac and cheese which i will have to try the next time. i love a good grilled cheese and this just hit the spot!

not too long ago i discovered the pgh taco truck by my office in the north hills when it was at coffee buddha. so i started to follow them on facebook and twitter. last week i was on facebook and they posted that oh my grill would be joining them at coffee buddha for lunch hours. so i thought that would be a perfect chance to check out my second food truck in pittsburgh! i ordered the “number one” smoked gouda & white cheddar bacon & caramelized onions w/ chive cream dipper. if a classic grilled cheese is for kids, this “number one” is for the adults! everything was good on this sandwich, the toasted outside with the buttery goodness and then bacon with a little smoke and bite from all that cheese. the chive cream dipper was something different for a dip instead of tomato soup like when i was a kid (even though oh my grill does offer a tomato soup dipper). i also ordered the parmesan spinach balls. these were a nice addition to the meal, good flavor. what really made this side was the

i love the south side step trek . i had fantastic pictures last year, and i was worried about this year, since the forecast called for rain; however, the skies cleared, and it turned out to be a beautiful yet chilly day. another wonderful thing that step trek brought to my attention was food trucks - i had my first food truck experience last year...
