szechuan ginger chicken is good! price slightly higher than other places.

great chinese! have been here a few times with family. great ginger beef and awesome deep fried wontons. decor is a little dated, but service is always quick!

tired and old. this is the equivalent of a small town dinner. not much imagination. service is friendly. meat quality is the lowest grade you can find. restaurant is in need of renovations and a cleaning top to bottom. have a look around. in particular the salt and pepper shakers and the chipping paint on the walls. food is americanized versions of oriental. just going through the motions. like a time warp back to the 80's. if you are looking for questionable retro chinese food, this is your spot. not for me however.

loved the athmosphere. willing to accommodate you on how you like your food. very friendly server.

was in the neighbourhood so grabbed some food to go. it was 1:30 and had 2 tables at the time. from what i observed the restaurant was clean.
i ordered a dinner for one and am order of pork dumplings. i was told it would be 10-15 minutes. when i returned i was told it would be just a few more minutes as they were making me fresh dumplings.
i substituted chicken balls as i gave a shell fish allergy and they were very accommodating. the chicken balls were crisp in the outside with a decent chick to batter ratio.
fried rice i've had better. it was a little disappointing to see the only veg was onion and peas. i only ate a few bites of it.
the sweet and sour pork was ok but a little dry. the best part was the sweet and sour sauce. it wasn't overly sweet like some other places.
beef chop suey was quite good, lots of bean sprouts but i was ok with that as i enjoy them.
pork dumplings were pretty good. i wasn't overly fond of the sauce that came with it, so ate them plain.
so much food i have lunch for tomorrow.
if in the area i'd probably go back.

this was the third time ordering from this restaurant...tonight the food was bland and boring and almost no meat in anything...very disappointed we counted 6 little specks of beef in the beef chowmein and the ribs were all fat and bones....not good at all.

hadn't been here in quite a while. they've renovated since we were last here, looks very modern and clean. we were looking for a rare canadianized chinese food fix so we ordered the combo for three. the s+s pork was definitely a highlight. i think we'll come back and try a noodle bowl sometime.

i go here because of the sweet and sour sauce.  i don't know if it is house made or a different brand than most places use but it has a bit more tang to it than usual which i really like.  the food is pretty standard for chinese in this city but it was served very hot which i appreciated.  the service is friendly, quick, and efficient.

i've only had the chinese food here and found it to be strange tasting. it just wasn't for me.

very unimpressed. i went into the restaurant hungry, but after a few bites i decided to stop eating. i realized that the food i was served was at least a couple hours old. it was cold, stale, and started to make me feel sick.
then i decided to read reviews and the old food seems to be common here. tell me, who wants to spend money at an expensive chinese restaurant just to find out that the cheap bastards won't even cook it fresh for you. it was tempting to just get up and leave without paying for that crap. i will never eat at that restaurant again, nor will i recommend it.
the only good thing about it, was the server was polite. that's it.

vegetarian options are limited. the lunch menu has nothing at all but if you ask they will accommodate. they made me the most awesome veggie noodle bowl. that's all i had and i left really full. service is really quick and they check on you just the right amount of times through out the meal. it's clean, small and quaint. i will be returning!!

order the diner for 3 last night. let's just say horrible! the girl said about 45min delivery was 1 1/2 hours??? food was cold and tasteless.... sweet and sour ribs were mostly fat. the chicken fried rice was lame! wonton soup flavourless! plus everything else was gross.. i called back to complain the girl basically didn't care... i used to order there but i will not anymore...

i ordered the special wonton soup for takeout. it was ready for pickup in 10 minutes and quite delicious. i will order it again.

horrible food & service. couldn't locate my order. after searching around for 10min, they claimed that i must have called the wrong number (phone history showed otherwise), they remade the chicken fried rice...it was absolutely horrible, pieces of chicken were the size of a pea, rice was mushy and lacking flavour. the actual dish only contained rice, chicken and peas, not what i expect in a fried rice dish. will never go back.

springs rolls the diameter of a toonie were awesome as well as the chicken balls, but... the chicken in the fried rice and chow mein was chicken loaf. sick. the same lenght as the noodles. just as sick as mings. had it once and never again.
