dont waste your time or money.. after being greeted by rude and unfriendly hosts at the door, we were sat an hour after our reservation and the restaurant was empty. the service was lacking, but not as lacking as the food was. our server raved about the seabass and it was nothing but a tasteless, over buttered piece of cardboard that was way too fishy for my taste. you certainly do not get what you pay for.. 39 dollars for a piece of seabass? go elsewhere.

susan. wow! this seafood restaurant is done perfectly. it is charming and elelgant and the food is superb. i was going to order the seafood cobb or grouper sandwich for lunch, but when eddie told me about the crab crusted fish of the day - i had to go with that. this is a restaurant we needed in dallas - seafood at it's very best!

love this place!. we went to ocean prime fora fancy night out, and let me tell you i savored every single bite of my meal. we started with the cucumber gimlet (awesome) and ocean prime margertia (delish!). i highly recommend the chilean sea bass and truffle mac and cheese for a side. we ordered the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert - fantastic! i savored every bite of the meal because it was just too good.

just ok food. waitress lost my credit card. i've been several times. the food is just ok. the most recent time i went, they lost my credit card. the waitress came back and said, "i lost your card. you'll probably want to cancel it." and that was it. i couldn't believe it. my friend had to pay the tab. i won't be back.

terrible and nonexistent service coupled with overpriced and undersized entrees on a quiet sunday night. definitely not a winning recipe for success.

a cheesy atmosphere with over-seasoned and saturated fare. decent sides but that's not why you eat at a restaurant.

this new "hot spot" was buzzing when we visited saturday night. the decor is beautiful with a intimate outdoor area that makes it a great date destination. unfortunately, our service was lacking. it took forever to order and our entree's came out later than expected. my scallops were too spicey (even though they were only grilled) and the waiter neglected to ask if there was a problem when removing the full plate, although he did ask the other diners if their meal was good. i had to bring it to his attention and they did remove it from the bill.

trendy and fun. great scene, vibrant, good music and lots of eye candy. apps were great, we had the calamari, shrimp special and oysters and all were excellent. we split wedge salads which was a solid wedge salad. dinners were good but nothing special, we had the tuna, blackened snapper, miso salmon, and a filet. we also had truffle mac & cheese which was very good, jalapeno potatoes au gratin were average. we split the alaskan something dessert which was huge and tasty. service was good, but the waiter was a bit dry. we will go back, great bar scene

great date. very cool ambiance! the portions are small which make it perfect for a date! the staff was very nice and seemed to know a good bit about the seafood and the wines.

trendy and overpriced for average food in a wonderful setting with beautiful decor and beautiful people. but even the beautiful people will admit that the food is only mediorce and overpriced. when you go anyway, ask for susie as your server. she is friendly, helpful, professional, a wealth of knowlege and loves her job. better for the bar scene than for dinner.

business associates and myself have joined at ocean prime several times, and were disapponted every time. the quality of food is not worth a dime. i am a very forgiving diner but each time it was almost not edible. our usual spot was sambuca, and we've all agreed to keep it that way- quality of food matters more than the "new spot"! don't waste your precious time or money it'll be a disappointment. my wife won't let me nor our friends or associates eat there anymore, and sorry to say i'm grateful!!!

best for bar scene and appetizers...not dinner. was very disappointed with the experience at ocean prime. restaurant seated us 1 1/2 hours past our reservation time of 8 pm. both the tuna tartar and calamari appetizers were delicious but we didn't get those until 10 pm. dinner was finally delivered at 10:45 and 3 out of 4 entrees were disappointing. the only good entree was the crab ravioli. the remaining fish dished (sea bass and salmon were fair at best). this was not worth the $400+ which we spent between bar and dinner.

the finest combination of prime steaks and seafood. fabulous decor, knowlegeable staff and a complete menu to satisfy every taste.
