mexican, yummy. if you want to eat much, as much as you can for small cash, you have to try mexican. and what other places than this one?
do not be fooled as this place serves some of the best mexican foods out there

best, best, best for mexican food in laid back small place. portions r generous& wait staff is super friendly. try the vegetarian tamales, you won't be sorry.

read every word of the menu twice. was ignored by the wait staff. gave them the benefit of the doubt for 10 minutes & left. will not return. way to many restaurants in huntington to put up with crappy service.

ehh.... only 2 good things about this place. the food is good and some of the appetizers were free. however, service was absolutely terrible. i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless its for take out. there was about a mob of 20 people crammed into the front of the restaurant waiting for a table with no where to sit while you wait. the host said it would be 15 minutes when in reality it took about 40 mins to sit down. when it was finally our time to sit the host did not even know who came in first and went by the honor system and asked who came in first and naturally 3 different parties raised their hands. the waiter was not attentive and forgot to bring out one of the persons orders i was with.

authentic and awesome. this is one of my favorite spots on the whole island. i am a big fan of mexican cuisine, and this is by far the most authentic that i have found on the island. i recommend oaxaca for anyone looking for a quality fix on their favorite cuisine. if it is not on the menu, they will make it. excellent service, excellent food.

fantastic...being from the northwest i always had great mexican. this was the first place in ny to give me a walk down memory lane. the burritos are the best.

one weekend in early february found me way out in huntington at a friend's store's grand re-opening - it's actually a really cool store, so you should definitely check it out if you play tennis. they have an online store too if you can't get out to huntington - click click . after hanging out for a few hours, though, a bunch of us were hungry, so we headed over to his favorite local mexican restaurant. i admit, i didn't have high expectations for authentic mexican way out in huntington, but that shows what i know… the place was kind of full when we got there, but a quick rearranging and they were able to accommodate our group of 7. when i saw horchata on the menu, i obviously had to order it. whenever i see it on any menu, i order it! stb was happy to see this and ordered it as well… and this was way better than what i'd had at la churreria . lightly sweet, and scented with nutmeg and is that cardamom… i really enjoyed my glass. we were brought these nachos on the house - a nice

delicious!. this food here is excellent. we got take out so i can't comment on teh ambiance but i can say that the person who took my phone order (the owner, i think) was incredibly nice and the food was outstanding. this place blows besito out of the water. don't waste your money on mexican elsewhere.

we adore this place! the food is to die for...the staff is super friendly! and best of all you never ever walk away hungry or with an empty wallet. the decor is a little rough but we like the ambiance of a little taco joint. it was finding treasure for sure! highly recommend for casual laid back dining and outstanding food.

good booty here!. like others have said this place is not much to look at so i would not recommend it for a first date, perhaps besitos overpriced delicacies would be more attuned for such a purpose.

the food here however is purely delicious. they have a habenero salsa that you can use on your chips to spice up the otherwise mild normal salsa. a complimentary nacho dish was brought out with refried beans that were as smooth as silk, and a guacamole splat that was divine. the entree menue has a ton of great options including tacos al pastor and a host of different enchiladas. i had a burrito covered in salsa and cheese, fantastic.

the service here was a bit lacking, consuming habenero sauce at a rapid pace calls for more frequent water refills, and being that i and my business partner were the only ones in the joint, this was not too much to ask. that being said the owner was very friendly, maybe a little too friendly. he brought my colleague and i a rice pudding ball on the house. certainly one of the better mexican joints ive been too, and i go to as many as possible.

friendly... authentic... yum!. very friendly, attentive service... coupled with down home, delicious, and inexpensive food... served in a casual atmosphere, will forever be a good thing. the black bean soup and guacamole are among the best i've ever had. and, the guacamole was gratis, along with the quesadillas. no wonder they have such a solid, loyal following. salud!!

always fun. reasonably price, fairly authenticate, mexican food on long island. staff is always friendly, food never disappoints. small, homey and welcoming, best mexican food in the village.
