nusr-et steakhouse

went there for dinner with the family.
it is a great place with delicious food.
we had to wait for about 40 min to have a table.itwas very crowded!
the meat is really well made?? the service is very friendly and quick. the waiters were very funny.
overall this is a must try place in istanbul!

let me tell you something, your visit to istanbul is definitely incomplete if you don’t pass by nusr-et steakhouse!

the place is supercrowded so you need to make a reservation. the staff are very professional and work really hard to make sure everyone gets seated and the customers waiting to feel at ease with some drinks.

the decoration is very modern and the seating is comfortable, tables are large so they fit the big portions served by the place.

we ordered dana kaburga (beef ribs), fillet mignon bonfíle (fillet mignon steak), and nusret special.

the meat tasted heavenly!itwas mouthwatering, and the whole meat experience was amazing!itmight be the best meat we ever tasted. i highly recommend all the meals we ordered, with a special highlight on the beef ribs which was our favorite! the meat is juicy, very rich in taste ??

last but not least, for dessert we took the baklava with ice cream which was super delicious!

almost all the meat meals are served with a show which takes you to a whole another experience!

the overall experience was one of a kind, the prices are expensive, yet they really match the high expectations you put on this place and its food!

would definitely visit again and again!

we came to etiler branch we were surprised by the rude staff and the way they treated us. this is unacceptable we were embarrassed in front of everyone that we did not put enough money?!! what the hell we put extra our bill is more than 2,000 anditwas there mistake where they did not see the rest of the money?!! this is not acceptable at all it’s a shame and waste of time.

an enjoyable and amazing experience at nusr et. you must know what to choose if you are not a meat expert, i wish there was pictures to make things even easier. we did our reservations anditwas easy to get our table. the staff were not so friendly and not so helpful whenitcomes to the menu items. the food was good, lokum steak tastes good but not so special. if you don't like raw meat, make sure to tell them to make well done. flower onion is a good starter to share at the beginning. baklava is super delicious and the guy presentitwith a small show.
recommend this place even thought it's pricey $$$$

for a place most known for meat,itis surprising to find the meat this average, and overcooked. nusret special was not so special. beef carpaccio was a delight. the waiters can pull off a show, and they really take care of you until you order enough to mark up the targeted bill, and then when you don't like your plate (because it's overcooked) & you senditaway and order the bill to leave they don't even ask you why you didn't finish the plate. it's a place on a lot of people's bucket list because of the mass promotion, but it's not luxurious and it's not a restaurant you would return to or recommend to meat aficionados. i guess they rely on one-timers. (this fuss won't last) #masstige

we had already reserved before 2 days.
we arrived on time for our reservation, but we could not find our table ready. not did we only wait for our table to be ready, but also we had to wait in queue for over 2 hours, as if we hadn’t reserved!
we were 3 persons and, while waiting in the queue, over 10 groups of 2 to 4 persons passed before us. the staff did not do anything and some of them were also disrespectful. note down also that the music was too loud for a place whereitis already too packed.
i can’t understand how a restaurant of such high class could be that disrespectful and not understanding towards its clients. i don’t care about food as long as the service is awkward, the service and staff of a restaurant should reflect its values and quality!

this place was amazing years ago. after they turneditinto more business and less customer serviceitis just a brand which offers nothing but a disappointment. the food is below average, there is almost no presentation to the food - the menu needs upgrading asap. the interior and terrace area gives a feeling of sitting in a cheap neighborhood restaurant .ithasn’t been renovated since ages. not to mention you have to wait for your table an average of 1-1.5 hours. because of all the hype they are putting no effort in customer satisfaction. waste of time and money. last time i went, my friends and i, got pushed and shoved we waited like idiots for more than an hour standing up a long with another 40 people who were also waiting for their tables. we gave up and we left. not going back there nor to any other nusret around the world.

had one of the best steak experience so far. selected a 21 days aged t-bone medium rare and was delivered as desired. the restaurant was busy in afternoon even on weekdays anditgets more busy for dinner servings. despite of the busyness the waiter did an amazing job... finally the salt bae was amazing!

you keep hearing about this place and noticing posts everywhere with the #saltbae and nusr et’s signature style in adding salt to the dishes.
however, nothing can ever prepare you to what would become one of the best experiences in your life.
we ordered the nusr-et burger, the goat cheese salad, the dallas beef, the lamb rack, the ribs, the baked potato with spinach on the side and finally the baklava with ice cream. everything tasted super good! the food was just to die for! and the burger is just so simple yet so perfect that you end up leaving yet yearning for one more bite.
the staff was super friendly and the overall atmosphere really great with an outstanding choice of music.
the food was definitely worth the wait.
to top this amazing experience, nusr et himself was there! i mean canitget any better??!!

wow.. nusret. where do i start? first things first; we had high expectations. those expectations were right. 
we had dinner at nusret steakhouse on a thursday and there was a very long row at the steakhouse. even though we had reservations, we had to wait until there was room inside.itwas so crowded inside and outside of the steakhouse. 
we had the kaves , the nusret burger and the baklava as dessert. all were great. however i wished i ordered the kaves medium instead of medium rare.itwas a bit too rare for me...butitwas my own choice. 
the service could have been better, because they did forget a few times our requests. but in all fairness ,itwas really crowded. i would also forget with that many people and all of their requests.

i get it. i get the social media appeal. to me that’s as far asitgoes with nusr-et for me. meat is good but overpriced. i don’t need to come to turkey to go to an overpriced steakhouse. if that’s your game then i don’t blame you for going, but be ready to open the wallet!

worse customer service i have ever witnessed.
we made a reservation for 2 at 9:30 pm.
it's 10:30 pm and we're still not seated with almost 50 other people waiting at the entrance of the restaurant facing the same frustration.
either the restaurant has an ignorance on operations management or this is done on purpose, either waysitis an absolute insult for every person coming to this restaurant. regardless of whether the food tastes good or not, having a meal at a restaurant is a 360 social experience and if this is the start ofitthen the experience is a failure beforeiteven begins.
shameful, not worth the visit especially if you're on a vacation.

i can never say enough or have enough of this branch. the food is always exquisite and the service is impeccable.
i can proudly say that i tried everything on the menu from beef cuts and steaks. the salads are very fresh, the meat is really out of this world and the baklava dessert is just perfect.
my favorite dishes are the sushi and the lokum, but i’m sure you will enjoy whatever you order. the only not perfect thing is the fries.
can’t wait to be back asitis the only branch with such excellent consistency.

it was disapointing!!! we have reserved 2 days ago and we were astonished from the staff responsible saying that we are like everybody on the waiting list just like more than 30 guests. we came from lebanon as tourists to eat as we hearditthat has the best steak; however,itwas a sum of: lack of professionalism in greeting, not keeping a reservation and way to dealing with. surely we spreaditso everyone knows. what a shame!!!!

every time i travel to istanbul i visit nusr et steakhouse. the place is always crowded. if you want to visit i recommend to book before you go otherwise you will have to wait for couple hours before you will be able to have a meal. the taste of the food is amazing especially the nusr et special burger.itis juicy and the sauce is yummy
