wait was a little long and not to many tables. food was great, no complaints there. i had their signature sandwich accompanied by a house salad. service from my waitress was a little impersonal but was quick. all in all a great little place to eat.

lunch here was not only excellent, but also quick and easy. this was surprising since the restaurant was quite busy with the lunch crowd.

my partner ordered the nuevo club sandwich on wheat. he said the mesquite turkey was excellent. this was a huge triple-stacked sandwich, by the way. he loved the potato chips, too. i ordered the soup and salad combo. wow! the roasted poblano soup is amazing. you have to try this. i also ordered the house salad with caesar dressing. the salad was fresh and crisp.

nuevo cafe has a special lunch feature every day, so you always have a surprise if you want to try something random each day. nuevo cafe also caters, so this might be a good option for home parties. you can also schedule your private parties here, too.

not impressed! $8.00 for a sandwich on plain bread and $2.50 fir iced tea. portions were small and food was bland. won't be back

best pablano soup in the world. want to eat there again and again. awesome food, good service. little pricey but well worth it, especially the soup.

the enchilada soup was really good. a little pricey but good quality. i got the half sandwich/soup combo with the chicken salad on sourdough which was great as well.

pretty decent experience. menu diversity is good with a unique selection of appetizers and sandwiches. nice to see a restaurant break out of the norm. interior ambiance is pretty basic, but who really cares anyway as long as the food is good. had the fried green tomatoes - not bad; avocado with tuna - pretty good; and a chicken bacon sandwich - not bad. portion sizes are decent and i like the healthy presentation and side items. not a 5 star location, but definately worth trying out. i always enjoy the local restaurants anyway.

every pre packaged sandwich i have ever been forced to eat in a convenient store far surpasses the presentation, quantity of meat and taste of the sandwich i was forced to pay $9 for at this place. literally, it had 1/4 slice of ham, 1/4 slice of turkey, 1/4 slice of bacon and a wet piece of american cheese. poblano soup was off the charts incredible. may be the only reason this place is open. i truly don't know how they sleep at night for the sandwich. the 2.5 rating is 100% do to the poblano soup.

great experience, the club sandwich was delicious.. the potato chips were too crispy to be served cold.. otherwise it would have been a 5.0..

the perfect lunch. i absolutely love this cafe. the atmosphere is very artsy and the food is excellent. i'm in love with the roasted poblano soup. amazing little cafe. i do wish it was open on the weekends though because i would like to take my boys over there. alas i'll just have to settle for it to be my favorite lunch spot while i'll at work.

pablano soup. their pablano soup! amazing!!! great soup with a hint of spice (pablano) but not toooo much. just right if you like a weeee bit of spice. =) have to pay a visit to the actual resturant soon =)

average. i think they pretty much survive off their poblano soup. nothing too special about anything else they have to offer. i could make the sandwiches at home without any real work.

the atmosphere is quaint, but as far as the food...i'm afraid it isn't as appealing as the art on the walls.
while they advertise they are a vegan/ vegetarian, that's blatantly misconstrued. they do not cater to anything vegan (side dishes exempt), and had only 3dishes (1sandwich and 2salads) that were vegetarian friendly.
highly disappointed and regrettably my first as well as my last visit.

it is supposed to be a vegan and vegetarian cafe.
everything had meat.
nothing was vegan.
they had two vegetarian options.
will never be back there again.

food was delicious, but service asinine. asked for the lunch special which included honey mustard. as i'm allergic to honey, i asked that it be replaced with regular mustard. response was "no substitutions on lunch special...sorry". i then asked for no mustard, either honey or regular at all, but to exclude it altogether. the response was "not allowed, no substitutions on lunch special...sorry". ummmm...yeah..i won't be going back anytime soon for that reason alone...."sorry".
