bar flare anyone???. decent bar flare, fun local crowd.

north third. the food and drink options are good. the atmosphere is dark with very eccentric decor that really makes the place. the service has always been great every time i have eaten there. its not my first choice/go to restaurant in northern liberties, but it is definitely up there.

we visited north third for dinner and my friend and i could not have been more pleased with the service, ambience and food! the mushroom flatbread was superb. it’s a must have if you go there. i could have eaten it all! they have a very nice selection of drinks and the food was amazing. i ordered the roasted chicken breast with rosemary.. super tasty, and my friend the grilled steak. i would totally go back there. again.. that flatbread was perfection!

our first time dining there was last week. our daughter who works nearby & goes there frequently recommended it to us.  it is a very eclectic atmosphere but fun & happening.  we like that there was a bar in the back room where we were seated.  we don't like to get stuck in a quiet backroom so we were happy about this.  each dining area is a fun place to sit with interesting people to view.  all ages too not just young hipsters. our waiter was very knowledgeable about the beer choices & the food menu.  he had a very upbeat & friendly attitude which is a plus!  the food was the best part however.  i had the fish tacos (2) & my husband had the muscles with linguini.  we also had the calamari for an appetizer.  everything was excellent.  we will be going back.  i recommend highly if you like great food & a fun atmosphere.  there is also a pin ball machine which we played after dinner.

i love this spot for brunch! great cocktails and so many food choices. i love the decor and the creole theme. definitely one of my favorite spots!

wonderful. cute & cozy, my date and i enjoyed an excellent trout dish and staff was very friendly.

awesome food and decor! was going to electric factory, always check urbanspoon. north third nice and close. everything sooo yummy, loved the wings! service was great, and decor is fantastic!

i am always suspicious about "hip" food joints, but all the food was great and had good portions and flavor. service isnt amazing though.

great food, cozy atmosphere. this little spot has dynamite food, and makes you wish they were open for lunch. their mussel appetizer, along with some bread for dipping in the sauce, actually makes a meal as the portion size is large. it was unexpectedly delicious, and now one of my favorite spots for mussels! salads are also creative and delicious. brunch items on weekends are wonderful, and many items off the specials menu are yummy! they change daily. in warm weather there are a few tables outdoors. while you need a flashlight to see the menu indoors at night, the place has a cozy feel to it.

i like this place but turn up the lights!. if this is a bar it's ok to be as dark as midnight. but it has pretensions to gastropub-ness so you should be able to see what you're eating. are they confused or trying to hide something?

real good food,great service. asked a local,where to eat and he scooped us on this place.went with the waitress recommendation on the local beer(brewed closeby) and the pulled pork sandwich(real tasty).for appetizers we went with the calamari and a real winner,steamed clams in a butter sauce with slices of sausage.her choice of dessert was also real fine,which unfortunately escaped me.friendly fast service.

the food is good, but way overpriced. i don't care if the coolest hipsters in town serve the food, greasy fish and chips shouldn't cost $17. its so dark, we could barely read the menu. service was pretty slow as well.

best breakfast!. i actually found this by accident. we were trying to go to honey sit'n'eat, but the wait was so long! we drove around the corner and saw their sign for brunch. we were all starving so we stopped rather then search around for somewhere else. the atmosphere is sooo friendly, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast was awesome!!! i recommend their biscuits...highly!

delicious!. tuna burger was fabulous! very aware of gluten allergy.

never a bad experience. i have never been disappointed with any of my visits to this restaurant. the atmosphere is great; very neighborhoody. the servers have always been terrific; always ready to answer questions regarding menu items, specials, and are great when you ask them to pair your meal with a good microbrew. it's my favorite restaurant in philadelphia and no other has yet to come close...
